They have quickly become more than just a local game store to me - it's a community hub where I've met other gaming enthusiasts who share the same passion for tabletop adventures. I've been a regular customer at Cardboard Castle Games for quite some time now (since May 2023), to the point that the staff knows me by name - LOLNot only does Cardboard Castle offer an extensive selection of games, from classic board games to the latest releases, but they also host a variety of events that cater to every gamer's interests. Currently, I enjoy attending their Disney Lorcana tournaments, where I've had a blast competing with fellow Disney fans in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. It's also been a great way to meet and make friends!One of my favorite experiences at Cardboard Castle Games has been their "Brunch & Board Games" events in collaboration with Vance's Bakery in Downtown Augusta, GA. These events perfectly blend delicious food with the joy of gaming, creating a unique and memorable experience for everyone involved. It's a fantastic way to spend a weekend morning, surrounded by good company and try a game before buying it.What truly sets Cardboard Castle Games apart is the sense of community they foster. “I had a wonderful experience at GameStop (Evans, Ga) thanks to Darrion. He was incredibly friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. I had a few questions about which Pokemon ETB to purchase as a gift, and he took the time to explain different sets including the latest releases and future releases.

What impressed me the most was his genuine enthusiasm for Gamestop products and his ability to connect with customers. He made me feel valued and ensured I walked away with exactly what I needed.

They make the perfect team and should be a model of how the coin and precious metals industry should be presented(a family atmosphere). One on one, straight up and honest! They are both very knowledgeable and WILL get you the answer you need. Their inventory is ALWAYS terrific and ever evolving! I drive from SC at least once a week to visit and in my opinion, this is the best Coin/Metals shop within 3 hrs of Columbia SC!
