Mandy's demeanor, particularly her passive-aggressive nature, has been a recurring issue. I have tried, and encouraged others to overlook this, but it has come to a point where it can no longer go unaddressed. This culminated in a recent event where her behavior became notably unprofessional. While issues can arise in any establishment, it's important that they're addressed to maintain the venue's reputation.It's evident that the overall vibe has shifted since Damon left. His presence was integral to the lounge's character, and it's been different without him. Thankfully, Cricket has been a consistent bright spot, always kind and looking out for patrons. Bo's friendly and professional nature has also been consistent and appreciated. He managed a situation involving Mandy with tact, ensuring that other guests weren't affected by her erratic, rude, and unprofessional behavior.It's concerning that many of our friends, and others I've spoken to, opt to meet elsewhere when Mandy is working. Even more disconcerting are the whispers regarding Mandy's potential bias towards female clientele. While both male and female patrons have expressed discontent, it seems women, in particular, feel singled out.In conclusion, El Jefe remains a preferred spot for many of us, but addressing internal issues is crucial for retaining its loyal clientele and upholding its esteemed reputation.”

“I think y'all doing too much in these reviews, it's a normal smoke shop where the employees are there for a lowkey, low stress work environment... maybe they listen to music or don't have the answer to your questions but this isn't a boutique? it's a regular store... you'll be hard pressed to find people making (starting at) $12/hr in a service position ANYWHERE that are kissing your ass. they're respectful, kind enough and ring me up normally. i'm someone who always asks/memorized prices so I've never been overcharged so nothing to say about that. try to have conversations with folks and be nice yourself, it goes pretty far. it's usually a single person in there working.. no wonder they listen to music... y'all can be so entitled it's laughable. it's no frills sure but it's literally a normal place. I was shocked to see such low reviews, it's not that serious. but anyway on to my review... a cool shop in a super convenient location across from marta. my biggest compliment is how observant the staff are. i've come in at all times of day/night and i have only had to ring the bell (the door is locked between entries) once. especially when there are groups of people in the parking lot, i've always felt like they were looking out to make sure nothing weird is happening. going to a smoke shop can be miserable as a woman but i never have any weird feelings from the staff and i've met at least seven people (and gone to two locations). I like them! I'm glad they're so close and hope these reviews don't discourage folks from going.”

The staff alright in my book. Especially, the tall skinny lightskinned guy! He. Knows. His. Stuff!
