“I love this place have been shopping here since it opened, the prices are great and there's a great variety. Only issue I've seen since it opened is after a year, the phone number member rewards/points thing still isn't working. Other than that I shop there regardless daily”

“Listen, my experience at this DG has been nothing short of exceptional since we moved here from Chattanooga two years ago. Today, I called the store to check and see if they had sour cream in stock and Tristan answered and sounded super busy but remained patient and polite as he placed me on hold and handled his customers and then came back and actually went and checked and started telling me EACH KIND they had in store. I mean, this is EXCELLENT & EXCEPTIONAL guest service. I’ve checked out with Tristan several times in store as well and he is always so pleasant. So are the other ladies who work up there and ALWAYS make sure you get a good deal. I love this dollar general. ♥”
“I love this store. It has a lot of variety at a good price. They have clothing for kids,women and men and they have plus sizes too. They have shoes and handbags. They have all kinds of snacks( candy ,chips,jerky ,cookies). They sell all kinds of beverages ( juices,sodas,bottled water). They have hair care products and health and beauty products. They sell hardware items,stuff for your car,some tools, houseware(dishes, bedding,some furniture,curtains,detergents ,cleaning supplies and more). They sell artificial flowers for the cemetery. They have a toy section and a school supply section. They sell Bluetooth items,cell phone supplies ( chargers and cords).”
“This is my neighborhood “last minute/oops I forgot/emergency items” shopping spot. It’s so convenient to have in Chickamauga. The employees are ALWAYS attentive, helpful and friendly. I shop here often and have never had a negative customer service experience. The staff always treats me and my children with respect and hospitality. Like all Dollar General stores, they have a huge selection in a small store so it can get a bit cluttered but the staff at this location is always willing to help me find anything I’m looking for.”

“I have nothing but good to say about the Scenic Highway Dollar General location. My son and I went in last night to pick up some snacks and my son had recently received a new debit card, and was having trouble with his PIN number. The cashier Chris was so kind about our technical issues. He was very patient and friendly as we tried to get our debit card to work. Chris gives the kind of customer service that is so unexpected in this day and time. Just about all of the staff at this location is friendly and efficient. Kim, who also works at this location, is always very personable and ready to help her customers. I am grateful for this store because for people out in the more rural areas of Lookout Mountain it keeps us from having to run to Trenton, Fort O or Lafayette like we used to have to do.”

“08/23: stopped in for some cleaning supplies. Continues to best the best stocked and cleanest of any Dollar store I have been in. Never saw an employee!! Only self checkout registers were open. I would have preferred to have at least seen an employee.2018: Quick in and out to get a few things. Store was clean and well stocked as always. Clerk very polite. Enjoy shopping here.”

“Always well stocked with a friendly & helpful staff. You can find almost everything here & it's a quick in & out. Problem is, you go in meaning to just grab one thing but by the time you reach the checkout you've found at least 10 other items you "need". A very convenient store & the prices are great.”

“I don't know if it's due to lack of products on the trucks coming in, understaffed or just employees that aren't thrilled over their jobs. Many shelves were bare, disheveled, unorganized. I saw one gentleman taking things from a U-boat to place on the shelves. He didn't seem overly happy about either being there or his job. He wasn't rude, and I did observe him help an elderly cpl. Yet, his vibe said all that was needed. The cashier was nice, and seemed chipper enough. This isn't the 1st time I've been to this particular store & found the shelves in a terrible shape. I go to several Dollar Trees due to the great deals that can be found, when products are out to find. This particular store could use a renovation for sure. The employees could most likely use either more hourly pay or hours. I get why they work them as they do. Yet, when they see employees miserable. They should do better & create a better environment for their staff. Between the staff & customers. That's how they stay open. ?☺️”

“The staff here makes the shopping experience... They are friendly and helpful.
The store is clean and well-stocked. This is our emergency grocery store for when we run out of basic supplies and don't want to go all the way to the grocery store. They'll have the basics; bread, Mayo, mustard, ketchup, hot sauce, frozen dinners, ice cream, French fries, lunch meat, PB, jelly, ice, soda, etc. And of course, the basics for living, laundry soap, dish soap, hand soap, pet supplies, batteries, pillows, sheets, blankets, gardening supplies, etc. They don't always have the best price, but they have a good price and convenience. Works for me.”
