“A friendly staff helps define this Dollar General, otherwise, it is your typical Dollar General. Since it is a bit off the beaten path, this place is a good place if you just need to grab a few things and be on your way and not have to drive to a supermarket.”
“I have to say, I was VERY impressed to come into this store. Ive never heard of you all before, (as im from the South West) but I wanted ANYTHING other than Walmart. You all were not only clean, had good prices and exceptional selection, but your deli, and produce is off the charts! You guys had EVERYTHING I was going to need to get at walmart and SO MUCH MORE! I saw a lot in the deli and produce sections I have never seen at a large box store. Awesome inventory. As if this stuff wasnt enough, I was ALSO totally taken back by the friendly demenor and personal service I got upon check out. A young man even bagged my groceries for me!!!! ***THANK YOU for understanding what customer service is*** and for just being a GREAT alternative to the large corporate stores! I am sold and will be buying the bulk of my groceries here from now on! Your alls inventory/options AND customer service WAAAY beats walmart!! Keep on doing what youre doing. Much love from this guy!!!!!”
“Shopping experience was ok picked up a few items we needed and some Easter candy and dropped off a Fed X package while there.
Dollar general does have some employees that just sit on their but, I mean really in the isle either playing games on phone or talking to someone very loud on speaker phone. I seen both this trip and last time I was there. Same employe same isle. I actually videoed it and showed both to a manager this trip.”

“But please fix those credit card/debit machines. All the employees that work there are awesome. But evidently corporate does not respect that. Corporate needs to remind themselves that rural Americans need the money that we spend in DG every day. And quit threatening employees with jail if the sell cigs. WE KNOW. You don't like smoking. WE KNOW you don't like smoking but you cannot expect the rest of America to have the same feelings that you do. I bet you anything that you have a issue that we don't like. 🫶 You need us customers more than we do. Remember Uber is right around the corner 🤣🤣🤣”

And to the man that helped me when I asked “ is there not a fairy dept “ and when we got there I I said how crazy I was and showed him the cheese I had got out of the Dairy Dept….. thank you for laughing with me lol. “This is the third time I have been to this store at 8:20am and they have not been open . If you don’t have the employees to open on time change the open time so people don’t waist their gas driving here .”
“I like Dollar General stores because there is one almost anywhere you go. However, I feel, because I go frequently to DG stores, they need more employees so someone can be putting up stock almost all of the time in.order for shelves to be properly stocked. Many times I've been to my local DG store and shelves were practically empty but there were carts all over the store full of products that needed to be put on them and even in the coolers for items like Milk, Ice Cream, etc, that shouldn't be left out for any length of time and I must say that on more than 2 occasions I've gotten spoiled cooler products and I feel it's due to it sitting too long before employees had a chance to put them away. Dollar General stores are a wonderful chain of stores, and they fulfill a very much needed service to just about every community in our state of Georgia. From what I've observed myself most, if not all of the stores not only can use another person to help fill the needs of the store, but the needs and wants of their customers. After all, is it not the customer who keeps each store in business? I, and many others will most likely keep going to our local DG, but for how long. Also, the coolers in our local store have had issues to the point they are shut down and have been for several weeks, like 6 or 8 at least. Just saying. Paul”

“I really like this little store a lot. When my brothers lived in the outskirts of Atlanta, some 50+ years ago, there were a couple of small mom and pop stores within walking distance of our home. We would sell coke bottles and then go to the store for a sackful, and I do mean a sack full of candy back then. This little Indian Springs store so puts me in mind of those days so long ago. Thanks BIG Chief, and don't change a thing. Thankfully, Paul”
