“Norman is a true gem!!! We recently moved to graysville and so I was looking up the weekend hours and stumbled across the reviews and wanted to add my thoughts. Norman makes this post office such a great experience. He is excellent at what he does and he’s very personable. I’d give Norman more than 5 stars if I could! And give that man a raise!”

“Post Office Tour stop #336 was the East Chattanooga Station. It was a nice clean office were the people were nice and very helpful. This building was dedicated to service in 1998 however could not find out much more than that for this office. However, I did find out that Stations were established not only to keep pace with cities' population growth but also when formerly independent Post Offices were discontinued and converted to stations of a larger nearby Post Office. Sometimes this was done
to provide free mail delivery to customers, since initially residents of only the most populous cities were eligible for free delivery.”
“Excellent service and short wait! I was happy to find that they had all the mailers and packaging I needed to send out a gift that I couldn’t quite get packaged myself. It was only $10 to mail out and the bubble mailer was less than $3, so quite the bargain compared to UPS and FedEx’s pricing. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes and my package should be getting to my friend in about three days time.”
“Visited 3/31/25 to get passport done clerk was very patient with me and gave me ease and smooth process received 2 weeks later only thing I haven’t received my birth certificate I sent off with my application :(”
“I love this post office. The people at the counter (except for one, sorry to say) are extremely friendly and helpful. I always leave there with a smile. The service is fast and efficient and you can tell most workers truly love their job and enjoy working with people!”
“Excellent service on all levels. The employees of the Chickamauga Georgia post office are always friendly and willing to assist. Recently, my packages were mistakenly delivered to the wrong address. When notified, Carla went above and beyond locating my packages and delivered them to my home. I could not have asked for a quicker or better response.”
“Oopsie! The postman forgot to shut and lock the mailboxes after he/ she delivered everyone's mail today. It won't even shut without the key. Today is Saturday, so it's going to be like this until Monday. :( I noticed it was left open and immediately got my mail, Thank Goodness, bc I had a check come today! “I lost my wallet, with my passport in it, less than a week before I was due to travel overseas. I was a panicked mess. Michael found my wallet, tracked me down, and got it mailed back to me as fast as possible. Such a kind person, I can't thank him enough!!”
“They are typically not too busy. When there has been a line they are as quick as they can be but still get you everything you need. They have put up dividers for Covid-19 protection and have the standard spots marked on the floor for social distancing. Easy in and out access to the parking lot and ample parking.”

“PO stop #335 was the Highland Park Station of Chattanooga TN. Highland Park was a small town about 2 miles from downtown. It was annexed into Chattanooga in 1929. Could find no cornerstone or marker to say when this building was built. It was very clean and in good shape. I sure the people here work very hard but like all of us are never given the time or extra help to get it all done.”
“I got to say the manager that I spoke to that helped me got my package. I can tell that they have a lot of patience and kindness and I've witnessed them handle a situation greatly.
