“In November, I placed an order for two items. One of the items arrived promptly , but the second item, a firearm, had to be pick up directly from the store once it arrived. The item finally arrived at the store but there was no notification email of arrival send out to me. After 16 days waiting to hear from AAFES, and two phone calls direct to Customer Service in Texas in which they had no clue at all about my order location, and were side stepping like crazy, I then decided to travel to the Main store at Ft. Stewart to speak with the store manager.
I spoke with the manager and explained the issue I was having. She immediately took care of the issue after speaking with the person who received the item at the store Firearms counter 10 days earlier. It appears the item was received and entered in the system as received. I was told the item once entered, the email system would automatically generated an email notifying the customer the item was available for pick up, but it failed to send the email for some reason.
However, The people I spoke with over the phone at AAFES headquarters in Texas are 100% clueless. They didn't know anything and kept giving me the run around responses.
Thankfully, The Ft. Stewart Main Store Manager resolved the issue in moments. I certainly appreciate the manager for taking the time to meet with me and resolving the issue. Also Much appreciated the two ladies at the counter were also extremely helpful. I'm very please with my purchase and will continue to place order in the near future. To the Ft. Stewart Manager and the ladies at the Firearms counter, they get 5 stars. I would give them 15 stars if possible.”
“When it comes to shopping in base for goods and food or even services this is a quick option. Me I often but my guns here. The staff is very nice and the bathroom are very clean. They have a smaller food court area but the staff really seem to know there jobs here and understand military people and families.”
