From the first day in class, I felt so welcomed. It was also beautiful to see how not only does Maria make sure to teach everyone proper form, she’s fostered such an encouraging enthusiasm that is contagious. The women there encourage and help each other, and I believe it’s because of the environment Maria has set up. She’s also very knowledgeable and was always able to come up with variations for me when I couldn’t do certain exercises. If you want to learn HOW to exercise and not just go through the motions at a gym, this is your place. You will love it here!”

The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the workouts are challenging while still be adaptable to different fitness levels. “The Gainesville Jazzercise studio is a wonderful place to take charge of your health and fitness. It’s a serious, full body workout and a fun way to exercise. The results speak for themselves! It’s also a community that supports each other as we work toward and maintain our goals. The cost per month is less than a lot of prescriptions - and so many people say that they no longer need some of their medication after a few weeks of regularly exercising. “I absolutely love this location. It is very clean, machines are up to date. They keep renovating occasionally so it looks sharp, modern and new. The bathrooms are super clean all the time and the staff is very friendly. I do think they'd benefit with a personal trainer sometime to bring this location together, bring new people and guide them through their workouts as well as bring competition to the locations that do offer one.”

“My daughter has taken weekly piano lessons with Danielle for several years now and plays the piano absolutely beautifully. Danielle has her teaching style down to a "T" because every recital I've been too has little musicians who truly enjoy playing and don't see it as chore. I think that is extremely telling of her ability as a teacher to encourage, motivate, and challenge her students. Studio is part of a historic building in downtown Gainesville and renders itself to a more cozy feeling which is not intimidating for the beginner and warm and inviting for the more experienced. All ages of music students are welcome!”

“This is a very nice facility compared to other Y’s I’ve been to across the southeast. Staff are friendly enough but I don’t go to the gym to interact with staff so I couldn’t really care less. I’ve only used the weightlifting area and can say that there are plenty of machines to choose from. In fact, they could probably stand to lose a few machines and replace them with benches, squat racks, and other free weights. All in all, and great facility and worth the cost.”

“Nice spacious gym with tons of equipment. I’ve never seen it overly crowded and while they play background music, it’s not blaring like some local gyms. I mostly enjoy the personal attention that I get from coach Chance during kickboxing classes. Chance nose, his stuff.”
