“These folks found our very long lost missing cat. We live in Marietta and somehow she got clear here. It’s been a little over a year since we last seen her. I’ve had her since hurricane irma when I found her and her kittens we lived on the beach then. After that ordeal I got her spayed and eventually we moved from the beach in Florida to here in Georgia. She’s always been a bit feral and has a taste for being outside and she goes in and out of the home. She can’t be contained inside. She one day just never came home and we looked and searched for her for several months. I figured that we would likely never find her and she had found a new home. Fast forward we got a message she was at the animal clinic here. They held her for us and we drove and got her back home. We have her adjusting in a quiet room for a bit until she’s let out. Hopefully she doesn’t decide to ever go on an adventure like that again. lol she’s had quite the adventures from us finding her in the storm to this. Thank you they even stayed late due to traffic to get her to us. My teen daughter is thrilled to see her again.”
“Animal Care Hospital has cared for my dog, Shadow, since 2012, and I couldn’t ask for a better veterinary team. For more than 14 years, Dr. Scholl and his staff were always kind, patient, and genuinely caring. They answered all my questions, fit us in for last-minute appointments, and never overcharged or pushed unnecessary services.
Shadow recently passed on November 7, 2025 at 14.6 years old, and while it’s been incredibly hard, I’m grateful he spent his life with a team who treated him like their own. Their compassion and support meant everything.
I will always recommend Animal Care Hospital to anyone needing a vet, and when the time comes for me to get another dog, I’ll definitely be back.”

“The staff here are super helpful, knowledgeable, informative, and professional. The office is very clean and efficient. They’ve helped me out with two dogs and they will absolutely be my go-to from now on. They took the time to explain everything that was going on and discuss multiple treatment options as well as answered my multiple questions regarding ongoing care and preventative measures regarding my dog’s issues. One employee even ran out to the parking lot as I was leaving to give me a recommendation regarding one of my other dogs! They’re also reasonably priced and well worth every penny.”
“I should have written this review 2 years ago, but the pain was real. We were taking our baby here for several years when she got cancer and when I tell you that the care she received and the empathy that gave was really special. The doctor was always straight forward and compassionate and when the decision was made to end her pain, they supported us in every way possible. We have finally decided to adopt a new baby and didn’t even consider going anywhere else! I know our new baby will be in great hands!!!”
“I had to take in a stray cat that has been frequenting our house for years but is VERY warry of anyone but me because he knows I'm his food source. We've never been able to get him to stay inside. Long story short, I was concerned about a recent abcess on his back. The folks at Brookwood Animal Hospital were able to see him the morning I called. They expertly, gently and safely assessed a stray who was not happy at all about his situation! They were friendly, efficient and gentle and I was in and out with a treated, vaccinated cat in under 30 minutes. I'm grateful for their service and reasonable prices. Brookwood Animal Hospital is now our go to for future veterinary needs!”

“I brought my monkey in when he was lethargic and withdrawn. The veterinary team handled his condition with care and nonjudemental compassion.
After a few sessions, he is his old self again, shrieking, jumping, climbing the curtains and jumping off the chandelier.

“When I got home from a few days away , my cat was very ill. She hadn't eaten, and had become very dehydrated. It seems that she was so stressed by my leaving that she got sick and had a uti. The veterinarian and staff were very kind and quick to help. The medications that were prescribed worked quickly. 2 weeks later, she has gained back the weight she lost while I was away, and she is eating and drinking normally. I would recommend this practice because they were quick , efficient , friendly and kind”
“Our husky Calvin has a very special personality (sweetheart with trust issues) which leads him to try to protect himself from people he doesn’t know. That didn’t stop Dr. Ricky and his team. Calvin was treated with such care and we were even able to watch the entire appointment go down. From front desk to the doctors to the groomers, heck even the cats that roam around the office, are all amazing and hospitable. After being rejected by many vets and groomers, we’re VERY happy Sugar Creek AH took him in and made all of us feel comfortable and reassured. They take every precaution needed and do it all with a smile too. Happy to call them our new go-to vet!”

“My dog was recently diagnosed with lymphoma and we were referred here to see Dr. Vidal. The facility is very nice, calm & clean. My dog was surprisingly comfortable there. Dr. Vidal is very knowledgeable and so kind; so far all we’ve had is consultation & tests but she has answered every question and more. Lindsey, the tech, was amazing from the start as well. My dog was comfortable with her right away, she’s knowledgeable as well. You can tell they all love animals. I know their goal here is to help and I’m glad I came here with my dog.”
