202 N West St, GreensboroDiscovered this lakeside restaurant on Google maps after driving almost 2 hours from home to Greensboro Georgia to eat at a different restaurant that had closed down and had failed to update their web page. I am so thankful that restaurant was closed down and I found this place. The restaurant I found is called Burch and Boathouse. The restaurant is a casually decorated building with excellent food, Superior friendly welcoming service reasonable prices and great views from the interior dining room and the exterior seating pretty much great views from any seat in the restaurant. I ordered the smoked chicken wings and the Thai salad which had a base of kale and other greens. I had jalapeno ranch dressing to dip my chicken wings in ,which was delicious The salad had a thin slightly peppery dressing that paired very well with the salad (not too hot). The chicken wings were smoked perfectly had a nice crispy outside with just the right amount of smoke and a juicy slightly pink meat inside probably the best smoked chicken wings I've had anywhere. A very nice touch was the owners husband John and his wife Morgan stopping by my table and speaking to me, not just a quick hi how are you, we actually had a nice conversation about the restaurant and another restaurant that they co-own called Table at the Lake which (Is) a more up scale restaurant with great food and nice views of the lake on a different part of the lake. This restaurant was very well worth the almost two hour drive from my home to have lunch
