“Went by at 9:30 on Veterans Day, both women at the register greeted me. A nice dark skinned lady helped me find what I needed and a beautiful light skinned lady with orangish/res hair had me cracking up at the register! Great experience 10/10”
“The employees are rude as hell!!! I asked the lady a question and she was very sarcastic and news smashed my finger with the can goods I bought when she practically slammed the bag down. I will NOT be returning to this location again.”
“Suede and Jasmine always makes your transition go smoothly with great deals everytime I come in there store. I been coming there for years. Thanks for the professionalism and great business.”
“Shopped there several times. You can get great deals on home products and other items for reasonable prices. Even though the$5 gift box was a bust. The items in it was not my taste and the clothing was dirty and torn. But I did give it away to someone who wanted what was in it otherwise the rest went to goodwill.”
“It was a nice lil spot pretty much a mini mall everybody sell the same stiff just different store names but they all are related or close friends so either way win win just make sure you walk around to get the best deal again each store in that category your looking for price is different and it's all knock off again nice lil apot”
“Today I shopped at the Big Lots located on Candler Rd in Decatur, GA. I purchased Christmas Decorations for my front porch and I was very pleased with the different varieties they offered and the prices were good too. The store Manager named Corey customer service was great. He was very professional and helpful with my order. I would definitely recommend this location to my family and friends It was Corey's great customer service for me.”

“This is definitely my go to store. I can always find what I need. I love the new set up. It’s very organizing and clean it get Stock on a regular and the prices are definitely affordable specially since they took away so many stores in the Black ◼◼◼ community DD’s is like Marshalls or Ross in our neighborhood. If you know you know. You will at least see me once or twice out the week.”
“Just like a thousand other people. I ran ?♂️ in here only for paper and tape. I came out with a basket full of ummmmm this and that. But, I can honestly say that it was a great idea to grab the items I needed the most.”
“Prince has the Best oil and Shea butter in the city Straight down the middle row on your right That's all I know lol There is a photographer in the back right corner he has also been there for a long long time check him out”

“This store looked so good I wanted to ask who was the store manager! Everything was in place, floors were clean, and products were in stock. Great job to every employee!”
“LEE LEE ! WILL WILL let you cash app or give her cash ! ! & you can get what you’d like out the store. She may have to act like she told you to put something back to look good for the cameras. But she is only telling you to put back small items not the good stuff. She told us before hand to grab some stuff like a drink, or candy bar . Those items put back when she says something to you, if she has too. I got washing powder, dog supplies, cleaning supplies. Also Food and drinks. That helps alot with the economy. We all know how hard times are. Especially for families. Mother n kids. I can’t imagine a person being rude and mean to innocent people. Like some of the employees, It’s good to have someone like LEE LEE. She is for the people forsure. Someone else seen me getting stuff and I told her what was happening and she said she was gonna get some stuff also. I told her have her $40 ready! LEE LEE we hope you make your goal today ! I love that for Lee Lee and for us customers. She making her money CALLING OUT PEOPLE! Even the kids yall! She mostly a people person. We was shopping at the near by Roses when we met Lee Lee. In uniform she asked if I would like a deal. She said she was just trying to make her some money and look out for people and kids. Once she told me how todo it! I was like most definitely I’d take a deal! I paid for my stuff at roses then went across to family dollar and really shopped ! I spent $8 at the counter and gave LEE LEE $40 cash I got at least $80 worth! Probably more honestly! This is the best Family Dollar yet! I will most definitely be returning, but only if LEE LEE IS WORKING IT WOULDN’T BE NO REASON TO GO Y’ALL IF SHE’S NOT! I left a five star review because it was a great experience The Store was overcrowded at the time a lot of boxes and stuff in the way it really wasn’t Organized But that’s OK when you’re catching a deal. And I think they leave it that way so that you can go in there and do what you do without being noticed. Family Dollar is for the people Thank y’all so much! Y’all please go visit this Family Dollar ! Ask for Lee Lee! This is what family dollar is about. Saving money for families in need . A lot of people overlook families in need and kids being hungry and wanting snacks . In a economy where we have to pick in between bills and snacks . It’s great to have LEE LEE SHE WILL PICK YOU OUT! That’s what Family Dollar is all about saving the Dollar for the families! ?????”
“Store#4017. I just wanted to thank Denise the night manager for her excellent customer service that is rare to find since COVID. She went above and beyond to help my Mom who was visiting from Boston she misplaced her ID and began to panicked Denise assured her everything would be ok, but she had to stay calm. When I made it to the front on the store everything was handled. Shout out to Mandy the Store Manager for having an amazing crew. Sincerely,Pam T.”
“I went to Dollar tree December 8th of 2025 needing a gift for someone who is like a father figure. The employee Vernitia was extremely helpful. She gave me an excellent gift idea, left her register to help me find the item, and did it all with a smile. Excellent customer service I will definitely be back.”
“The owner is the absolute best, and the staff here is always friendly and super helpful! Although a past experience here wasn’t pleasant, this store has completely turned things around. It's consistently neat and organized, and the merchandise is top-tier for great prices. Highly recommend stopping by!”
“I'm excited and delighted to say the customer service is paramount at this location. Shining the light on 3 beautiful ladies. Heavenly is always a positive vibe. The loss prevention lady with the short hair and red lips is a joy. And last but not least is Taye. No matter how late it is, her personality is always great and she is amazing as well as her smile. She is also very helpful.THANK YOU LADIES!!!”

“Great store for everyday items, especially detergent, dish liquid, and amazing pictures. I got one in the Covington Highway store last year. I should have bought both . The price was unbelievable at $7.99. My granddaughter loves it and wanted one for her birthday.”
“The folks were kind. A bit distracted, but they had the item i needed. Their prices seem inflated, but this is expected on the back side of town. Wrong, but expected. Knock it off, Family Dollar!!”
“I went a few months ago on a Tuesday. I enjoyed my experience. I got an item for $2 that I know for sure cost 20 something on Amazon. I read some of the other reviews and just wanted to add my 2 cents... its a bin deal place, who expects to purchase big ticket items for 50 cent or 2 dollars, its not that kind of store, stick to the bins and you will be alright ?? this store is like a yard sale/thrift store vibe, not a Macy's/JCPENNY/Belks...I am def going back”
“I love shopping at this store. Everything is always so neat and well organized. The store clerks always greet you when you enter the store with "Welcome to Roses" which really makes customers like myself feel appreciated.”
“Clean and organized. This site was fully stocked and easy to maneuver. Workers are friendly and actually working. You could tell they were a team and liked their job. That's rare now days. I was actually impressed by the food choices at this location. I'll be back.”
“Listen hear management! Don’t talk mess up and lose that older woman that greats every single person that walk through the door! She is a jewel and this was my first time going to this location. I don’t plan on going to any other Dollar Tree than this one solely because of her! She is a light and her simple greeting every customer made everyone feel so loved. Idk your name ma’am but you’re amazing! Thank you for your kindness ❤️❤️”
“I've been a customer every since they opened. I'm never disappointed. They literally have everything in there. Organized with great prices! Very friendly family owned business.”
“This is a must go to place before you hit Home Depot or Lowe’s they have everything and if they don’t have it come back the next week and it’s there. The owner knows everything in there and is the most helpful, great customer friendly business”
“I always have a great experience shopping here! The variety of items is impressive for such low prices, and I often find hidden gems. The staff is friendly and helpful, making each visit enjoyable.”
Burlington Stores is giving its locations a major makeover. The off-price retailer has already transformed about half of its 1,115 stores and plans to complete the redesign across its entire fleet by the end of 2026. The company calls this makeover "Store Experience 2.0." Gone are the cramped aisles and confusing layouts that once defined discount shopping. Instead, Burlington is creating wider walkways, organized sections, and clearer signs to help shoppers find what they need.
Dollar General is adding more of its private label food offerings to stores, following similar moves by big retailers like Walmart and Amazon as store brands keep growing in popularity. The store is launching new items under its own labels, including ice cream, cinnamon rolls, coffee syrups, and salad dressings. The move comes as store brand sales reached $271 billion in 2024, up nearly 4% from 2023.
Daiso, the beloved Japanese retailer known for its variety of affordable household goods, is expanding further in the U.S. market. Ollie's Bargain Outlet just landed a great deal of its own, winning a $14.6 million bankruptcy auction for 11 former 99 Cents Only store locations across Texas. The discount retail chain pounced after 99 Cents Only abruptly went out of business in March, shuttering all 371 of its stores in California, Arizona, Texas, and Nevada. Ollie's quickly made an opening "stalking horse bid" to grab over a dozen of the empty properties.
