“I was stuck. My car was spewing transmission fluid everywhere. I'm not a native of this area. I don't know anything about it. A friend of mine towed me to this location because he said they were honest mechanics and would figure the problem out quickly. When I arrived everyone stopped what they were doing and helped diagnose my car. Turns out it was a minor problem. Even though he could have said the diagnosis fee is.$100 and we charge $100 an hour to fix. He didn't do that this guy got me running for under $100..These are old-school mechanics that.have that modern touch. If I lived in Hartwell I'd recommend them. Thanks for getting me back on the road.”

“Before I moved to Hartwell from Gwinnett County a couple of years ago I usually purchased my tires at a national tire retailer. But since the nearest one is in Anderson, I decided to try Modern Tire and All Terrain, and I was not disappointed. I just needed a couple of tires for my old BMW before an upcoming 1,200 mile trip. The tires came in within a day and the price was exactly as Brett quoted. The service was prompt and courteous. I'll be back when it's time to replace the set on my wife's vehicle.”
“Best Master Mechanic within 100 mile radius, hands down. Has serviced all three of our vehicles for the past five (5) years, and saved us thousands vs. dealer or rip-off incompetent shops. Locally owned, managed, and operated - one man shop. You may have to wait but when its done its done, and he backs up his work in the rare case of a re-do that is valid. He is in the mode now of cutting back on big jobs as the roses aren't waiting around anymore for him to go smell them & he knows it. Foreign and Domestic, HVAC, mechanical, some electrical, control - and more. Older your car the better, lol :)”

“We needed and oil change right away. I called ahead to see how busy they were. When I arrived, they were there to greet me before I got out of the car. They had the car in the bay before I spoke with the lady inside at the desk. As soon as she got to me she took my information, checked the car mileage and VIN, and told me what my choices were. She also offered additional services that were available. I made my selection - standard oil change - and she told me to check back in 30 minutes. They were done in approximately that amount of time, I paid the charge, and was on my way. In addition, when I got to the car the protective plastic was still inside, but when I pulled it out and started looking for a garbage bin, one of the employees noticed and came to take it for me. Overall a great experience!”
