Again, perfectly cooked to have just a little resistance when you bite in, and flavored with tiny pieces of fatback or bacon. The devil is in the details, and the protein in this is cut small enough so you get some in every bite, with consistent flavor all the way through. That's the kind of love you find at a five star resort, not a gas station deli.Finally the mac and cheese had some new fangled noodle that my wife experimented with in her macaroni salad last month to no good outcome. Well apparently they are designed for mac and cheese because I couldn't believe how good they were here. First thing I thought of was Jules from Pulp Fiction, "This some gourmet...." And far from the Velveeta I use, this was some kind of cheese blend that was Boss level depth of flavor, with a thick, creamy texture and a rich, yet tangy flavor.Sorry about the low quality picture. It was too dark, so I tried to correct it with filters and this is as close as I could get. The clamshell is actually white.”
