Very disappointed in the AutoZone in Jackson tonight 4-14-25 there was an older couple in front of my husband and they needed a battery installed that they bought there and the employee refused to do it. Luckily my husband was there and got it in for them

THE STORE MANAGER LEONARE NEEDS TO BE FIRED!!!! went in today and told them I needed oil and a filter. Got home to my husband laughing at me cause they sold me the wrong thing. When we went back to purchase the right quantity as well as a battery, the store manager insisted the battery we needed was for a car that had star stop, my car does not. We insisted the battery she was selling us (the most expensive one btw) was the wrong one. Immediately she gets an attitude and begins to be rude. We just said nvm and left, not a second later she went right to the next customer. Based on all the reviews
1:you can’t trust this store to sell you want you need/want
2: they don’t know the difference between start stop and a push start.
3:STORE MANAGER needs to be fired!!!
4:Clearly customer service isn’t their thing
We will be contacting her DM Frank to file an official complaint. I suggest you all do that as well on their website or over the phone.

Sitting in the parking lot. Waiting for them to unlock the doors on a Sunday morning. The door says 9am but the manager shows up 10 min pst time to open. So now we have to wait until she gets her collective crap together before the store can open. I have watched 10 people walk up pull on the door and get back on the car and drive across the street to advanced auto.
This could be some of the reason that this company is on the verge of bankruptcy.
I also am a G,M. Of a store, I would fire any manager that could not even open on time.
But as set her to write this review they still are not open. I to went to advance. But did not carry want I need.
So Im going to walmart. And will never even try to shop at Auto Zone

I hate to see so many bad reviews on this store because this wasn’t my experience! I needed my car tested because it kept dying on me . Jason helped me so well! He tested it , informed me that I needed a new battery. He looked up pricing for me , installed the battery in the rain ! Prior to doing that he was also extremely patient and understanding while I called another store to compare prices ! He also then tested the car again upon my request to inform me that I had misfires after he installed the new battery . He also educated me on prices etc. He was friendly , personable, and professional! The other young lady who was working on the same shift as him was also friendly, although I didn’t get her name . This was 11/10/24 around 12 noon. Thank you so much Jason for your help . Greatly appreciated!
