Brought 2018 F150 into Shottenkirk Ford in June 2022 for service. Truck was still under power train warranty. Cam position fault caused by low oil. i expressed concern about oil loss on the 5.0 motors. I was told it was OK. Brought F150 back in May 2023 with truck out of warranty and was told truck again was burning oil and all the 5.0 engines were bad . I ask the dealer why they did not tell me about the Technical Service Bulleton in June of 2022 while my truck was under warranty? Never could get an answer from dealer. Never would acknowledge they new about Ford Service guidelines when my truck was still under warranty To bad for Local F150 owners with the 5.0 oil consumption problems

I went to this dealer to trade a 18 corvette Grand Sport. I had all kinds of trouble with the truck and the dealer would not stand behind anything. I would have to say that this dealer is not a good business to purchase a car from. I would not recommend them and make sure you check every little detail if you do. Con artist is the only word that fits the bill here. These people should be put out of business. Don't buy here people.

Service manager was a little short and rude. I ended up fixing the problem myself. I was told I would have to leave my vehicle for a couple of days. All I needed was a small electric coolant pump replaced. It took me less than 30 minutes.

Twice this week my car would not start due to a dead battery. I had purchases the battery in March of this year with a 36 month warranty. When I was able to jump it off and return to the store, they tested and said the battery was ok - maybe something was drawing down the power. So, I called two Ford dealerships and was told by both locations it would be 3 weeks before I could get a service appointment. I then called Shottenkirk, spoke to John in their service department, and found someone willing to assist me that day. He encouraged me to bring the car in and they would do their best to look into the problem and get it back to me by Friday - two days before Christmas. I drove the car to Jasper within the hour and was assisted by Rocky, another service rep. He also was very accommodating and said he would call once a diagnosis was determined. He called me today and advised it was a defective battery. They tested it and found it would not hold a charge. All the assistance they gave me as a first time customer was free - no charge for anything. ABSOLUTELY the best Customer Service I have received at a dealership EVER. I highly recommend their dealership service department.

Take specific note of the business owners copy and paste replies to negative reviews. They say please call us to fix it but Try as I might I can't get any answers. Found a reasonable deal on a low mileage truck 6 months ago. After the warranties and everything we were $200 a month over budget but I pushed cause it felt like a truck to last a lifetime. I moved out of state a few months after buying and now when there are powertrain issues, I can't get anything out of a warranty. I'm a few thousand into a 40k truck with like than 40k miles.

I bought 2016 Maserati.... 1200 miles later my oil change due reminder came on.. called service dept trying to find out if they changed oil & didn't reset reminder... left 2 messages and 2 weeks later Jerry the service manager still has not returned my called .. spent $40k for this car... 3 months later I can't even get a courtesy call back provided me with much needed information... POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AFTER THE SALE.... *** UPDATE... just received phone call from JERRY... he could not have been more apologetic... my concern was passed on to sales, but got loss in the day to day operations... BOTTOM LINE.. THEY WANT ME TO TAKE CAR TO SHOP OF MY CHOICE & HAVE SERVICE DONE & THEY WILL PAY BILL... that's more than I expected... I just wanted to verify service record... IM TRULY HAPPY... THANKS... WE LOVE THIS CAR & THE SHOTTENKIRK FAMILY...

These people are crooks i took my close friend and employee to pick up his truck they charged him almost 300.00 bucks it broke down 2 miles down the rd they will not help him at all they will not send a tow truck nothing it's almost 100 degrees out here sorry bunch at jasper for sure

I began having issues with the car I purchased within 12 hours. It has now been in the shop 8 times. They send it out to be fixed so I am without my car for one to two weeks at a time. I have shown them videos of issues and it still took 5 trips to get the sunroof repaired. They had to replace the stereo and it came back to me without apple car play. It ended up being 3 weeks total without my car to get them to replace apple car play. I had to prove to them I had it. Hello- they sold me the car and advertised it with apple car play. They have now had it another 9 days for another issue of which I have a video of. After 3 days they called and said they couldn't re-create it. Again they have the video at that point hey had not even sent it out for diagnostics. I should not have to lose my temper for this service department to do their job and use the extended warranty they told me was wonderful when I bought it. My service rep ask me if I wanted to trade and I said no I want your dealership to buy it back. I've asked for management to call me several times and they never do. I was promised a piece of trim that was cracked would be replaced when I bought it and each time I ask about that its forgotten. I wanted to buy from a local dealership but have found this dealership doesn't care. I feel like its been in the shop more than I've had it and that's not how this is supposed to go. I will never make this mistake again.
