Ocean Lodge Resort is an amazing resort with a great location just steps from the beach, offering excellent access and free chairs and umbrellas. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, roomy, and large, though they could use a little maintenance and were noted as a tad bit dusty. The staff is outstanding, friendly, helpful, and wonderful, from the front desk and maintenance to the servers and maids. The rooftop restaurant and bar provide the best views on St. Simons Island, with perfect appetizers, a great burger, and happy hour prices that cannot be beat. The bartenders are very willing to accommodate and make amazing drinks. Guests loved the breakfast selection and the overall improvements in cleanliness. The resort is within walking distance to good food, local shops, and a fishing pier, creating a feeling of being free from everything but with all the comforts. It is a great place to stay, highly recommended for its service, value, and excellent experience.
Great place to stay. Amy and Kim and the others took care of us. Great bfast selection. Jimmy Dean Biscuits. Great access to the beach. Beach chairs and umbrellas for free and towels. good parking under. walking distance to good food. We did not get to try the 5th floor food.

Excellent experience! Room was very nice, only could use a little maintenance but extremely comfortable and roomy. Service was the best! Staff is very friendly and helpful!
