“It's a process. I am almost at the finish line thank you.
June 3rd 2026 ... I need to add extra income needed to wait a yr. Time up in July then house looking again. Yay.”
“Took my cat for her spay appointment last year 03/24 and vaccines. The process was quick and efficient. I had some questions and concerns after her surgery and the lovely staff answered me quickly. Thank you all!”
“Thoroughly enjoyed my morning at this park. There are many activities you can do at this park (Dog Park, Treetop Quest, Skate Park, Veterans Memorial, sports fields, etc). Each lap around the park is about 2 miles with some hills. There is plenty of parking around the park.”
“The Dunwoody Nature Center is such a peaceful spot. It offers plenty of options — from walking the trails to enjoying the picnic areas and playground. It really feels like its own little oasis, perfect for getting your steps in or just taking a moment to unwind.
There’s also an event center on the property, which makes this a great location if you’re planning an indoor/outdoor event with a natural backdrop. Parking is limited, so depending on the time of your visit, you may want to plan ahead. Overall, a beautiful and relaxing escape right in the area.”
“This is a great Y. Facility is clean, and equipment is kept functional. Terrific staff that is friendly and helpful. Many great programs to choose from for all age groups. The cost is reasonable for the quality of the facility.”
“5 stars solely because of the staff…
The bartenders and kitchen staff here are excellent — they’re the reason this place deserves five stars. They work hard, they’re respectful, and they keep everything running the way it should.
Management, on the other hand, is a completely different story. I’m saying this bluntly: the person calling himself the manager made me very uncomfortable. As a woman, I did not feel at ease around him. During my visit, I watched him go behind the bar and pour himself what looked like a very long, extremely heavy-handed pour of liquor — easily around a 15-second dump — then mix it with an energy drink, use part of the can, and put the rest back in the cooler. The whole thing felt unprofessional and out of place, especially from someone who’s supposed to be in charge.
He didn’t seem steady or fully aware, and it absolutely affected the atmosphere. This place has a lot of potential, but the “manager’s” behavior takes away from what the rest of the staff works so hard to maintain.
If leadership matched the quality of the bartenders and kitchen crew, this would be a five-star spot across the board.”
“Totally professional and worth every penny. Both of my puppies have been here to be neutered/spayed- they've had zero complications or issues post op. The price I was charged was so much less than what my vet wanted. That says a lot. Make donations to support this business they're helping control the pet population and deserve your support.”
“Everyone was very nice and helpful. My fiance and I were in a bad spot and they allowed us a voucher to be able to stay where we were,.We didn't have many clothes or food and they took care of that also. They also have someone there that will help you apply for food stamps and Medicaid. In the waiting area a lady from Waffle House was there offering positions in any area you were residing.Great place.”
“Great local shelter. We were there for an event in their event room. Had a chance to see the cattery, and new construction going up. Beautiful campus. Dog shelter looks it will be great too.”
“I have been donating blood at this location for many years. I just got back today from my most recent donation which was a very good experience. Ro was was my phlebotomist and she was very professional, efficient and conscientious.”
“I got these 2 kittens from this shelter yesterday. The staffs were really nice and they take care of the animals realy careful to make sure they won’t get sick from other ones. I have nothing to complain about the service. Especially, they have a lot of cat and they all are so lovely, sweet and pretty. If you are looking for cat or kittens, i would recommend this place.”
“Great park for bikes and skateboards. They had an amazing Christmas light display this year. And its awesome because the skate part is lit up very well and they are open until 10pm!”
“We love Chewy VetCare at Halcyon ? Dr. Devenish & team have been great for my new puppy! The experience has been amazing and the team makes her feel comfortable. Thank you for making each visit great!”
“The YMCA is the best place to do so many activities, classes, exercise and swim. The staff is wonderful and the facility is spotless clean. I enjoy spending my mornings here at the Y.”
“The greatest asset in Gwinnett for the support of businesses, networking, and economic development of the community - not just Gwinnett, but all of North Georgia. Every business in Gwinnett or surrounding areas should consider joining.”
“We volunteered at this location a few weeks ago with our women Aspire group and volunteers from my company. We spent the day helping them organize their stock and labeling it correctly. It was a very enlightening experience going through all the donations. This organization provides diapers, clothing, and other baby items and items mothers may need for themselves. Families can come in and shop for the things they need for their new baby. The staff was very friendly. I look forward to volunteering again.”
“My daughter was gifted a session for herself and her closest friends. The girls were very reluctant to participate, but they each say that they enjoyed the self defense techniques they learned. The parents of all of the girls were very appreciative as well. The girls had an opportunity to discuss tough topics that tweens are typically reluctant to discuss with parents. The facilitator, Ali, did a great job putting our girls at ease. I would highly recommend this training.”
“My late wife and I have been long time donors, and my late wife was a recipient of help from AKS. I am forever grateful to this organization, and the assistance they give to dialysis patients. I encourage anyone who donates to consider donating to AKS.”
“I am studying the art Iaido, which is the Japanese Art of drawing a sword (aka Takana). I am 75 years old, and I have always wanted to study this art, but could never find a “traditional” Shibu (aka School or Dojo) where you learn the art of Iaido with the different katas (formalized series of movements – One could call it a form of “shadow boxing”) AND the traditional Japanese culture, filial piety, self control, honor, and respect for one another. This Shibu has all of these and more – “Really? How much more”.. I am glad you asked. In this Shibu, everyone offers to help and guide each other; This is very special, as egos do not play a part, and each and every one of students (Either Aikido or Iaido) strive to assist in helping each other. I would suggest the AAA school of Aikido and Iaido to anyone who is seeking a better path, physical training, and being part of school of GREAT people.

“My grandchildren started going here when they moved in. This place has really poured into their lives. My grandchildren are blossoming so much and thriving from going here. Mr. Lawrence and his team are the best. THEY ACTUALLY CARE!!! I Love how all the children get to perform at some point. GREAT PLACE Y’ALL”
“What a wonderful little community garden park in Suwanee. The Red Barn is a fantastic place for a little special event facility. Not a lot of parking so I would advice to take a rideshare.Ypu can rent a small square space to grow your own vegetables. Water is available to bring life to your crops.”
“They are life changers. I am pleased with everything they do for my family. They don't discriminate and the staffs OMG are so polite and nice. I will give NFCC a thousand stars if l can”

“Great service to the community. I was short on groceries after the holidays and I was able to fall back on pantry items. This was my 1st time here. Consumers are able to shop and choose from a variety of pantry items. Everyone gets different choices depending what’s in stock. Don’t forget your bread.
They also have a clothes closet.”
“My family and I have been going to chabad For the last fifteen years , I recommend this place to anybody who wants to come and celebrate and prayer the jewish prayers”
“Amazing, mission-driven organization that supports those in need. It is 100% volunteer-run and they do great work in the community supporting children without resources. Not to mention, you can find some great clothing and household items in the store. Shopping here is a great way to support the incredible initiatives of this organization while also buying your clothes in a sustainable way second-hand.”
“Very nice masjid. Everything so nice besides some volunteers in women side is very ignorant and rude! One Friday I just want to buy food and one girl told me to pay 15 dollars then I realised I forget my wallet..then I go to my husband to bring money.. After i came back the other women told me to give 20 dollars...i Just shocked..i mean i donate for masjid no problem but its seems unfair. The other day in milad..that same lady give food..she behave like we... Can not afford food! Came on man we don’t go there for food..we just want to part of dua mahfill..that's it..it’s very very rude..otherwise it’s a good masjid...I love to go there..just need some changes..”
“An amazing group doing anointed, necessary work around the world. Great organization to partner with on a mission trip, and/or donate through to reach areas of the globe that need to know Christ.”
“There's always something going on at SEFAA. You can take a class to learn a new skill, buy discounted supplies or enjoy their ever-changing gallery of art. Members can use the facility to meet with like-minded makers, borrow from an extensive library of resources, or create in the community studio.”
“Used to frequent this location all the time when I lived in the area. Lots of good finds
Years ago I was shopping & a gentleman came up and shared his find of a fendi purse with me …& told me it wasn’t his style but would go great with my outfit.
I still cherish the purse & the goodwill angels out there !”
“Goodwill in Johns Creek is a solid stop if you’re hunting deals. We found quality clothing at a fraction of retail, and the racks were worth taking the time to dig through.
If you’re a reseller or “flipper,” this is a spot to keep on your rotation. There’s enough turnover and variety to make it worth the search.
Store was organized, easy to navigate, and the visit felt efficient.
Bottom line: Good selection, strong value, and definitely worth a stop if you know what to look for.”
