“For all you fellow older folks out there: do you remember the days before big-box retailers? Back when finding a specific part or tool meant heading down to your local hardware store, not just to buy what you needed, but to get solid advice from people who actually knew what they were talking about? Or, on the off chance the employees didn’t know, how another customer would overhear you and offer a helpful tip?
This is one of those places. It’s like stepping into a time machine back to the '80s. Everybody here is unbelievably polite, courteous, and helpful. They will bend over backwards to make sure you're taken care of, and if they don't have what you need, they will find it for you at another store. This is my new go-to hardware store.”

“The lady with the short blonde hair was so sweet. I wish I caught her name, but she helped me out and her customer service skills were phenomenal. I typically don’t get surprised by customer service but she really did a good job helping me out today and someone I hired off of thumbtack!”
“I was referred here by Home Depot (!). I had a rare bolt on a lawn mower that I needed a replacement for. Two different employees generously spent at least 30 minutes with me trudging back and forth to my car to try out different options. We finally determined that they didn't have it, but the employee referred me to another store that specialized in it. Lo and behold, they had it! I really appreciate their kind help. [ P.S -- they have a white longhair store cat, too!]”
