“First of all, I will never buy another paint or stain from another Home Depot or Lowe's again in my life. Secondly, if at all possible, I will always buy from Dan who owns this store and a couple others in the area. I have been here three times. The first time I was just curious about what they offered and why stores like this exist when so many people just go to Home Depot or Lowes for everything. Well I got my answers.#1) Buying from Dan is like buying something from your Dad. As a former painter, he is going to make sure you know everything you need to know about your paint, stain, etc. As well as everything you should look to avoid before taking on your project.#2) Buying from Dan means that you are going to get exactly what you need and/or want. I told him I love the look of houses with their brick painted white and the window and awning accents painted black. He gave me the full run down on what to use for painting on brick and talked me through techniques to get into the crevices. He also talked me through all the different types of black and which products work best on metal and metal that has some rust exposed. Dan leaves no stone unturned if you have questioms, and Benjamin Moore carries the right type of paint or stain for every surface iquestions,#3) Dan goes out of his way to help. By my third trip to the store I had started a handyman company and I desperately needed to try and match a deck stain. Well, stains look a lot different than they do on the can and they change color as they dry for at least 48 hours. I needed to match it today so i could stain tmrw. So Dan let me take his last set of stain examples he reserves for store use only just as long as I brought them whenever I was driving by the store again.I have never had better service before. Not at a restaurant, not at a 5-star hotel, nor at Sandals in Jamaica (which is wonderful btw).You get exactly what you need. You get all the information and help you need. You get a superior product. So it must be more expensive, right? Nope, not really. Some things are cheaper.”
