The front desk staff and young lady that helped us prior to seeing the doctor were great. My issue was with Dr. Boeskool. He was rude, and the appointment was horrible rushed and he doesn't seem to like the fact that people have a free choice not to come to the eye doctor every year. My eye sight is much worse than my daughter's (who had the appointment), yet he claimed he "couldn't get her to 20/20" after giving her little to no time to tell him whether or not she could make out the eye chart. My military doctors were able to get me to 20/20 vision no problem. I won't be returning after seeing similar complaints about the service here.

If possible I would list no stars. Took my daughter in today for a routine eye exam. We signed the waiver to not have her eye dilated. They do not give you the option anymore when checking in an automatic charge all patients for it says it’s the copay. I feel for it when I went but you can’t fool me twice. After I signed the waiver form because we go every year and I understand that they need to check eye health but I don’t think it’s needed every time if there were no concerns the previous year. Maybe every 2-3 years not an ophthalmologist just my thoughts. Probably a reason insurance doesn’t pay. Everything was fine until we were in the room and the Dr said he will not see my daughter unless we dilated her eyes. The website says you can waive this service because it is not required every year but also depends on the health of your eyes. He must make a commission off make all clients have their eyes dilated. The office stay was so nice when we first arrived and was very rude when we left. I was not rude to anyone only asked why it was being required and given a blanket statement many factors play into why he would require it. Ok Right have a nice day we will go else where.

I was dilated before my vision test and told that’s the way the Dr does it. I’ve researched and that should not be the case. I’m not happy with my prescription and I was told I would need to pay for another eye exam. I used them because my previous eye doctor joined My Eye Doctor in Pennsylvania so they could share my records. I was also told I had a lesion in my left eye and referred to a specialist who after they performed their exam told me it was in my right eye. I would not recommend, you only get two eyes and I wouldn’t trust them with a franchise. One of the employees referred to the DR as a kid.

Please be aware when going to this eye doctor. I had an annual exam yesterday and called them this morning to express my concerns of a conjunctivitis infection I woke up with this am (with in 24 hours of the appt). They did not take any concerns of contamination seriously and stated “this is a sterile environment there is no possibility of contamination”.I accept that these things happen and I honestly just wanted eye drops to clear up the infection and to inform them so they can clean but their lack of concern is a red flag for my family and I. We will not be back.

Great service! Melissa told me she’d give me $25 off my glasses for a good google review.

I took my grandson here for his first exam. The initial staff were friendly. The doctor was young, rude and hurried. He actually acted rude because I told him he hadn't had a exam. I'm the grandmother. He turned his back on me. He did not turn around and address my questions either. He flipped through the lenses so fast too. I am unsure if my grandson had enough time to answer. We won't be back.

A year ago was my 1st visit. The prescription was off and the frame broke after 3 weeks therefore I went back to using my old glasses. My insurance won’t cover another frame for 2 years. Today I went for my yearly exam and opted to get frames elsewhere. The scrip was different and the doctor who was nice even said the script from last year was way off than what I should’ve had. I wanted to do contact exam but didn’t want to purchase contacts today. Therefore contact exam wasn’t done. Now if I want to do a contact exam my insurance won’t cover because it needed to be done at the same time. I don’t understand why the contact exam couldn’t be done along with the eye exam and I would’ve bought contacts from them at a later time. But they want you to buy buy buy immediately. Worst place ever! Staff is ridiculous!Wright Eye Care is the place to go ?I was beyond upset when I called back and I didn’t act appropriately but……. I will never go back ever again.

They rescheduled my appointment with a different doctor than I asked for who I saw last year without telling me. When I went in, a sales associate was complaining to his coworker loudly about not being paid and said he would not be in a good mood for the remainder of the day & nobody should screw with his pay. I was hoping I wouldn't get him after my appointment but of course he's the one who called my name. He was short & rude. I'd be mad if I wasn't getting paid, too but don't come in & take it out on the customers. Told me the $99 sunglasses I picked retailed for over $400 & I'd still owe over $100 after insurance. I told him I could get 2 pair for that online and he shrugged and said "you do you". I definitely will never go back there. They also dilated my eyes and offered nothing to protect my eyes when I left the store. So make sure you take sunglasses if you go!

This place is a SCAM. You get overcharged for having insurance they will milk you for everything they can get. A whole office full of incompetent scam artists.

JUST BLAND. Left much to be desired. I only scheduled at this office since I was new to the area but familiar with the company. At THIS particular office I guess it’s mandatory for patients to have eyes dilated. Never the case at other locations. Anyways, with dilated pupils, I’m then left to choose a pair of glasses. I must have been spoiled at the other location because a tech would ALWAYS be sure the frames were right for my face/ears/nose bridge, this was not the case. I received my glasses and returned 2 days later for an adjustment. *Staff performing the adjustment was rude initially. Which completely discouraged me for asking any additional questions. She “adjusted” the temples on my frame by bending them to the point that they now almost wrap under my earlobe. Sure they don’t slide off anymore, but they are not comfortable. Had they been nicer or more accommodating, I would have gladly spent more money for more proper fitting frames. I will be getting my prescription and going elsewhere.

I work out of town a lot so when I made an appointment for a specific day, it mattered. When I showed up they said they cancelled it because I didn’t respond and confirm via their text message…but they never verified my number so they weren’t sending me any texts. Although they were able to reschedule and see me the next morning, it was a hassle and I was expected to conform my schedule to their demands. But they did get me in.I purchased glasses that day and was told they’d arrive in the store in a couple weeks. I received a message saying they were in the store and I could pick them up. So I’m in town on Saturday and go to the office at 1:45pm to pickup the glasses only to find their office is closed. The website says they close at 3:00pm. Their automated phone system text me the hours which say they close at 3:00pm. Hell, even a google search shows the hours are 3:00….and there’s a sign on the door that they’ll be closed next Saturday. Now I have to wait at least two weeks to get my glasses. Sadly, this office is 0 for 2 on customer service.

Terrible and rude staff, screwed up my insurance making me have to pay for contacts out of pocket at another eye doctor. Refused to give me my prescription and argued with me saying they just got my release form when it went out an hour before hand and caused me not to be able to have my appointment else where. Absolutely terrible haven’t heard any good things from peers either.

I cannot believe this company. Told me I had to cancel one of my appointments since no more than two family members could be seen. I asked why and the employee stated "well if you are in a car accident and cannot make it we have one and a half hour for appointments not being used". I was so angry so they are not caring that we might be dead on the side of the road, just that it might take away from them making money. So that is why they rather we make two trip's so we have double the chance. I realize that I am angry but why would you tell your patients that? I cancelled my appointments and just wanted to share my experience.
