RaceTrac is a popular convenience store chain that has been serving the Southeast since 1934. Known for their "Whatever Gets You Going" motto, they are open at all hours and offer a wide range of products and services. Customers can enjoy freshly brewed coffee from the coffee bars, which feature various roasts, creamers, whipped cream, and marshmallows. The stores have nice interiors and friendly staff who are often praised for being very nice and caring.
RaceTrac provides a variety of grab-and-go food options, including pizza, hot dogs, empanadas, salads, sandwiches, snacks, and pastries. They also have a soda fountain with a good selection of drinks, slushies, and an ice cream bar with toppings. The stores offer affordable fuel with options including Regular, Mid-grade, Premium, Diesel, and E85. Many customers appreciate their rewards program, which can include free beverages and rebates, making visits more rewarding.
While the customer service is generally very good, some reviews mention that using the fuel pumps can be confusing due to different handle colors representing different fuel types. Overall, RaceTrac is appreciated for its clean spaces, helpful employees, and convenient amenities, making it a preferred stop for fuel, food, and drinks.
Gas pumps hardly ever work and a lot of the pumps have missing buttons, so you can not choose your gas. I do go there because they have flex fuel.
