They’ve been filling my wife’s contacts every 6 months for several years. Then claim that I’ve been getting them filled only once a year and now insurance wouldn’t cover it. It’s all been very confusing and this is after leaving a bad review on the Brunswick office for messing up the prescription for the contacts for no reason.
I’m editing this in response to the response below:
Then y’all must have a clerical error or changed something in the system. I remember specifically being told it was 6 months at a time, and picking up contacts y’all said were covered every 6 months. I’ve never had to pay out of pocket until now. So no, I do not accept the response I have been given and you can consider us no longer patients of seaside opthamology

The staff and drs at seaside couldn’t be more attentive and caring. I recently had an emergency and within an hour, Holly worked with Dr Lee and had a solution. I also had cataract surgery by Dr Scott over a year ago who explained the entire process, addressing my concerns and questions leaving me confident the procedure would be a success. Over a year later and all is well. The staff at the surgical center were very nice and calming the entire time. I highly recommend this practice.

I made an appointment in December 2022 for February 2023. When I showed up for my appointment I was refused service since I medically CAN NOT have my eyes dilated. Since I was a new patient the doctor said it’s required. I explained that I get sever migraines and getting this done could send me to the er. I was not told on the phone when making the appointment that this was a requirement. My rescue ate my glasses so I made this appointment out of desperation. I even explained that and it fell on deaf ears. IF YOU HAVE ANY MEDICAL ISSUES DONT USE THIS COMPANY THEY DONT CARE.

I just found out that Seaside Ophthalmology carries Maui Jim and many other name brand sunglasses. I stopped in for a repair on my sunglasses and was helped/sunglasses repaired on the spot. Great customer service!!

I was here for an urgent eye problem and every member of the staff I encountered in an extensive range of tests did excellent work. Dr. Scott was absolutely wonderful and fortunately for me even ordered procedures I thought I'd have to wait to see other doctors for. I doubt I would have received better care anywhere.

I just had cataract surgery on both eyes By Dr.Scott .I now have 20/15 vision in both eyes. Better than I could ever hoped for. There was no mention of a stigmatism which needed correction by an ophthalmologist in FL.
