My mother is deceased, and am unable to get anyone to answer the phone or to return a message, while her account continues to be overdrawn. Thank you for making a difficult time more difficult.

My fiance went to their website to book an appointment to open up new accounts. She booked it only a couple of days in advance which at that time, showed nearly most of the business day open for scheduling. She chose a simple 12:30pm appointment time. We rolled up to the bank. I was very impressed when I noticed the 5 drive-thru lanes and plenty of available parking. Nice clean property outside. My expectations were rising. We walked into the lobby. It was decorated extremely well, very bright, open, and over-all done top-notch. We had to tell one of the tellers that we were there for an appointment. Being 10 minutes early and with it showing most of the day open just the other day, I was hoping to get in right away as we had more stops to make that day. The teller responded without much care in her voice and said to have a seat and we would be helped shortly. We sat down but never noticed the teller leaving from behind her counter to notify anyone that we were there! While sitting there for at least 20 minutes without any sort of acknowledgment from anyone, we noticed a banker leave her desk to get something from another room. As she walked past us, she didn't even glance our way. As she was walking back to her desk, she did turn and tell us that she would be with us shortly without any indication of how much more approximate time it would be. It was already 15 mins past our scheduled time as we had already been sitting there 10 Mins early. That's nearly a half an hour with no offer of water nor seemly any concern of any of the staff there as we sat in one of the most uncomfortable chairs I've been in in a while. They simply didn't value our time nor consider the record breaking heat outside to endure to be there. After waiting that solid 15minutes past our scheduled time, we just walked out. There are many other banks that would gladly hold our money.

When we bought our business we were told at another local bank it would be an easy transition for the account to change owners. Long story short, the other bank changed requirements 3 times (and each time we had to contact the lawyer who handled our closing... And he was slow). We were desperate because payroll was about to come due and we needed a bank set up for our payroll to come out of! We showed up on a Saturday at Truist and THEY made it happen.Since then, we've had a great experience so far. The worst thing about this bank is it often has long lines.

The in person banking experience is terrible. The line from the ONLY one ofteller working leads clear back to the entrance of the bank. Never go to the Truist Bank in LaGrange unless you have an hour or more to waste. You would think that when they bought out or “merged with BB&T, they would’ve hired more employees to take on the extra customers.

I leave message after message begging for the courtesy of a returned call, explaining that I’ve already spoken with overseas customer service who stated they were unable to help and put in a request for my money to be refunded, which of course was refused. BUT-that’s not the help I requested, I asked them to investigate a Zelle money transfer that didn’t make it to the recipient and never came back to me! It was a significant amount and I simply wanted them to help determine through banking channels where the money is-since I don’t have it and it never made it to the intended recipient! I’ve yet to hear a word back, and since I’m visually impaired I cannot show up in person at the bank! Don’t start banking here if you’re reading these reviews! They’re a bank that doesn’t care-especially about the ‘little guy’.

Truist is a great place! I started my bank account. I believe Truist will do anything they can to see my bank account being secured. So bravo Truist! Keep up the good work.

Continuing to bill me for a safety deposit box that I closed almost 5 years ago. Getting someone on the phone is almost impossible and when you do they tell me I have to come in. I live almost 3000 miles away now. Totally ridiculous.

They don’t train their employees on simple task like converting a check, to a cashiers check. ( like for verification of funds on large amounts)Only one person knows how to do it and she is not always there such a headache And they charge for this when other banks do not charge

This has got to be the slowest bank in Georgia...... When you go inside the line is always long...... They need to do better.......I would not recommend this bank to anybody......

I am not a review person. But if I could give this branch a zero I would.My business account is with this bank and this branch is closest to my home. I needed to make some changes to my account. Arrived before the bank opened. Was at the locked door at 9:00 and had to wait for it to be opened. Asked for someone to help me make a few basic changes on the account. Was told they were currently offline and it would be a few minutes. I waited. No other customer was in the bank. After they were able to log on - they asked me what I needed. When I told them -- they said I needed to make an appointment and return. This appointment would be with the same person who was currently speaking with me about my needs. Basically, I was told I needed to return for an appt the following week because she had someone on her schedule and that person might arrive any minute - though there was NO ONE in the bank - not one other customer. This was hands down the worst customer service and most ridiculous experience I have ever endured and I will never go to this branch again.

Never used this bank before in my life ! I keep receiving mail as if I have an account ! I’ve called all the truist bank around the world and nobody answers the phone !!! But your open till 5 and nobody is answering !!! That’s about the worst customer service ever ! Why am I receiving mail from a bank I have no idea about

Stay away!!! With the "Truist" consolidation you get the worst of both! IMPOSSIBLE to get any banking done at the BBT branch and Suntrust "Can't help"
