“This store will be what you make of it. I went today (Wednesday) for the first time. Everything was a $1. If you’re trying to do this for resale, I doubt you’ll find enough to do so. Maybe if you go on the day they refill the bins. I was looking for something for a baby bunny we have taken on as moms and siblings were killed by a hawk. Found a popup play pen. It didn’t have the poles with it, but we were able to use wooden dowels we had at home. It’s a fantastic deal for $1. I got a few other items, all with more than $1. It takes some looking through everything and working around other people though. I probably won’t do it on a regular basis but it was a fun time. Thanks to the 2 girls that held up a hideous bowling shirt with a massive cat on the front. I am still giggling. It just got worse as they pulled it up. Almost wish I bought it as a white elephant gift.”

“The new location is huge and very well organized, neat and clean. I got a 36” bathroom vanity with top for $100. Staff was super friendly and helpful!

“I have to say I never leave reviews, but this store has to be one of the best I've been to in a while. For starters, the place itself is so organized, clean, and put together, and it always has amazing deals. I've been here twice so far, and each time the employees are absolutely amazing. There is an older lady—I'm unsure of her name, and I wish I knew it—but she is absolutely amazing and so attentive every time I'm in there. I have the most amazing conversation with her, and she always greets people with the nicest smile. I definitely recommend this store, and the people are amazing as well. “I was surprised at the selection available. I found several things on my list I wasn't expecting to find. I was both pleased with the low price on some items, but displeased with the higher prices on other items. The lady that checked us out was very sweet and kind. They did not have a working, public restroom.”
“This store has done a whole 180 since I move here a few months ago. The manager, Lora has done an excellent job with turning it around. The store is clean, well stocked and she always has enough employees to make sure the customers are taken care of. I was blown away by how warm & friendly she was. She was extremely helpful, too. It definitely aids in a pleasant experience when the manager actually cares about her store. It also shows in the way the she interacts with her staff & the customers. “Great store. I visit several within a weeks time and I can say, this store by far is the cleanest. All the isles are clear, and all merchandise is stocked. If it's not on the shelves, it is sold out. The customer service is great. They are very helpful.”
“The cashiers are absolute GEMS. If I could make them smaller, with a magical and technologically advanced shrinking raygun, like tiny as kewpie dolls, and then put them in my pocket, so that I could walk around all day and talk with them, because they are so kind and helpful and considerate, I would.
However, there is no music playing in the store. Back at Christmas time, I believe I remember there were playing some holly jolly tunes, and while I’m not usually a holly jolly music kinda guy, I could admire that at least there was some effort. What I’m looking for — consistently, not just in the holly jolly season — is some 70s, waiting room at the dentist, kind of soft rock, B 98.5 adult contemporary tunes that will soothe my aching soul as I pick out the proper toothpaste while I languish in abject poverty. I am giving only four stars because instead of playing Michael McDonald’s “What a Fool Believes,” I am served with silence — the stark silence upon entering this warehouse of cheap and affordable yet necessary and useful items, merely serving to allow my thoughts to wander into an existential wasteland, forcing me to consider my choice of career and lifestyle given the recent developments in our transition into late stage capitalism. Also because back at the Christmas time I mentioned before, they were playing that Mariah Carey tune. I just don’t cotton to it. Sorry not sorry.”

“It is what it is...a lower price alternative to Walmart or Target. I found what I was looking for, paid a very low price compared to Walmart and it's doing what I need it to. Does it have a huge selection like Walmart or Target? No but for quick shopping without the crowds, it'll do fine besides, the store was clean and tidy, customer service was good.”

1."HELLO", I felt welcomed to be a customer.
2. CLEAN & ORGANIZED! No items strayed in the isles, nothing out of place! Also, you could smell the CLEAN as entering the front door!
3. Public Restroom clean. Any customer that needs: Hand soap, Lysol wipes, paper towels and toilet paper was within reach!
4. Manager Brandon was extremely welcoming and most approachable. He was attentive and pleasant! Whatever Brandon, Amanda & their crew are doing AT THIS LOCATION, NEEDS TO BE HIGHLY IMPLEMENTED at your 4061 Anneewakee Rd. location!!!

“This is a must go to place before you hit Home Depot or Lowe’s they have everything and if they don’t have it come back the next week and it’s there. The owner knows everything in there and is the most helpful, great customer friendly business”
“I love the store but I do not like the fact that the parking lot is not lit at all the lights for the parking lot don't work so when you pull in an it's night time it's very dangerous, I wear glasses an still I have a hard time seeing to park I would suggest you not go there at night”
“Every time I visit this location, someone always says HELLO as soon as I walk thru the door. I love it. This store is always clean and properly faced items... the aisle are clean ... the store is not over cluttered and old and moldy. If Family Dollar would follow the model of this store they would grow immensely. But the only thing is there should always be at least 1 person in front of store and one person stocking and cleaning.
