Felt like a small town butcher shop and I mean that in all its glory. The familiar gab that I remember walking into stores as a kid. The yabber, the tips and tricks, and talking about mamar n’nem. The selection is awesome. The people are warm. —They got me excited to have a place to get live mud bugs next year.

Some of tbe best food I have ever had , from the stuffed pork chops to the stuffed chicken ,to the gumbo. Probably the best porkchops I have ever had . Great quality and the people there are great.. a must visit.?

This place is wonderful! I got some great mixture of seafood and Cajun meats all the way down to the Gator Meat. Perfect place to get all you need for a country boil and the staff where so patient and amazing towards me and my daughter

Being on chemo this year I entrusted my turkey to Cajun meats. We ordered the fried turkey and I have never been more disappointed. It was dehydrated looking it was so overdone. That was a bland, dry bird that woukd choke you going down. No one eequested seconds. The dressing was extremely salty. Never again!

We bought a turducken but got a turen…. Had good expectations based on prior reviews but sadly disappointed by them being cheap on the ingredients. While flavor was good, I have to give them 2 points because what we got was a turen, meaning there was basically no duck meat - see the tiny piece of dark meat at the top in the picture. That’s 1/3 of the key ingredient missing. Recommend therefore you buy somewhere else or make it yourself instead. Also the net they use to wrap it, takes off the skin when you take it off once done. Would be better to use string to keep it wrapped while in the oven.

Very disappointed with the lack of duck inside of the turducken!! Which is overrated and overpriced- and the turkey lacked flavor once cooked as the package instructed. Buyer Beware on purchasing the turducken. Not worth the risk or price. ?

They provided my family with a Turducken that we ordered two weeks in advance for Thanksgiving. It was delicious and all the rave. Our guests all came back for seconds.

This place deserves five stars best Cajun food from here back to Louisiana don't even need to go to the restaurant everyone should order from here and cook their food at home
