I received a letter in the mail that some people might consider “junk mail,” but it was really just an estimated quote showing what my coverage and premium could look like with American Family Insurance.
I decided to reach out, and after providing my current coverage information and applying the available discounts, including Costco and my home security system, they were able to come very close to the price originally quoted in the letter. It was significantly less than what I was paying with Allstate, and I was also able to increase my coverage limits in several key areas.
Communication with their team was fast, friendly, and easy. The signup process was effortless, and my policy was bound on exactly the date they said it would be. I was then able to cancel my Allstate policy and save money while actually improving my coverage.
So, if you receive one of these letters, don’t automatically assume it’s just junk mail. It’s simply providing an estimate of what they may be able to offer you, and in my case, it turned out to be pretty accurate.
