“An Absolute Gem for Every Dog Lover! Dog City Bakery is truly something special. From the moment you walk through the door, it’s clear that Kathy and Leanne have created so much more than a pet store—they’ve built a place where every dog is treated like family. I recently brought my Dog for the Day shelter pup, Ballad, to visit, and they welcomed him with open arms. Kathy hand-fed him a delicious blueberry yogurt cup that he absolutely devoured (judging by the puddle of drool he left behind, I’d say it earned five paws from Ballad! 😂). They also spoiled him with several beautiful homemade cookies that were almost too adorable to eat. What impressed me most is their commitment to quality. Their treats are handcrafted with healthy ingredients, they offer nutritious food options for pet parents who want to give their dogs the very best, and every item is thoughtfully made. Whether you’re celebrating your own pup, looking for the perfect dog-themed gift, or simply want to spoil your best friend with something wholesome and delicious, this is the place. But what truly sets Dog City Bakery apart is Kathy and Leanne. Their kindness, generosity, and genuine love for dogs shine through in everything they do. They didn’t see Ballad as “just a shelter dog”—they treated him like he belonged. That kind of compassion is something you can’t manufacture. If you’re looking for a local business that genuinely cares about the health and happiness of dogs, do yourself (and your pup) a favor and visit Dog City Bakery. You’ll leave with a happy dog, a full shopping bag, and a smile on your face. Five stars isn’t enough. Ballad gives it two paws up… and one very enthusiastic puddle of blueberry yogurt drool. 🫐🐾💙”

“Nicole and Southern Comfort are as wonderful as it gets!! They truly have a love for fur babies, which makes all the difference. Our pup Riley is a golden retriever who is very shy, and they make him feel so at home. She groomed him immaculately and gave me text updates when I asked! They have a side yard that is amazing! They are attentive to the needs of their human and puppy clients and I couldn’t recommend them more!”

“This place is great! My dog Birdie is an 8 year old rescue that is very scared but her fur started growing out much longer than expected and I needed someone professional to help with it. The reviews don’t lie this place is that good! And a great price! My dog was well taken care of and looks like a puppy with this great haircut. The photo on the light cement is her the day before the other ones are from today after her cut!”

“Got my Pomeranian poppy a year ago, and we love him so much, we did the loan and paid it off within the time so there wasn’t interest and we didn’t have to put anything down! Would definitely buy again, but they are little too pressurey when you’re trying to buy.”

“So grateful for hot dogs and cool cats for grooming my English Cream Golden Retriever! She looks fantastic, and when I picked her up, she was practically smiling and in a great mood, and her cut is perfect. Listen to what I asked him for: Maggie, my dog, and I walk three miles every day, so I wanted her nails trimmed but not much, and that's exactly what he did. Super, super grateful to have found this place!”

“I've always found everyone at the store to be super friendly and helpful as well as knowledgeable. I don't understand the complaints about prices I think they're pretty comparable with everywhere else that I shopped including Petsmart and Petco”

“We don't shop at this store normally because I live across town but it was the best one I've ever been to. The employees were friendly and helpful and the store had a good selection and a good layout. The parking lot is strange and the neighboring Publix remodel doesn't help hence the 4 stars.”

“I do not like some of the details on the new rewards program. I liked being able to see how many I had, exp date on them and then receiving reminders about expiring soon, etc. then I could use what I wanted when I wanted. Now they are clumped together with no exp. date listed so not something that can be tracked. Keep current program, BUT update with reminders about exp. date, etc. with an email if not within our account that we log into. Thanks!”

“I can't say enough good things about Chris the groomer at this location. He was so friendly with me and my two dogs. Two older chihuahua/weenie mixes can be a handful but he handled them gracefully and gave me an overview of everything that would be done. And when I came back to pick them up he told me all about their behavior. I will be bringing them back.”

“Came to the facility to get my dog washed. They had 3 bays which I thought was really cool and they were up front and nice. (I normally take my dog to Tractor Supply so thought I would try something new) They offer 3 different options - I decided on the top one that offered the blueberry facial for her and free treats. Everything was great until it was time to blow dry - one of the dryers and of course the one closest to me was broken. We had to move to the other one which was tricky because there was a line of dogs wanting to get washed. Only lowered a star due to that - plan on returning”

“Customer Service : 11/10 I come here so many times that the workers know me by now by face and some by name! Organization : 10/10 It’s always clean in there! Ofc some crickets are bound to escape when packaging up so if you have a fear of them don’t go in the reptile section haha.”
