“While we originally rented the truck from an agent location, because we needed to pick up the truck on a Sunday, I cannot say enough good things about the Meredith Park location - mainly, Shayla Dennis. Shayla immediately, with professionalism and respect, turned a very frustrating situation around. The truck we rented from Home Depot was supposed to be full of fuel and DEF fluid. She apologized over and over, assured us we would be reimbursed for the DEF fluid, advised us to just return the truck with the same amount of fuel that we received it. Other issues were also at hand. She reached out to us during the rental, several times, checking to make sure everything was okay with the truck and our move. Again, we didn’t even rent from her location, but she realized the problems we experienced and made it her mission to earn our trust in Penske, for future rentals. She assured us, this was not the Penske way. When we could have left as a frustrated and dissatisfied customer, Shayla has gone above and beyond and we don’t see any reason to use any other truck rental besides Penske. Penske is blessed to have Shayla Dennis! In fact, every business needs someone with her work ethic, professionalism and passion about the company she works for! I assure you, we will be using Penske going forward, thanks to Shayla and her commitment to make things right. We do believe, because of the way she made sure things were taken care of, our original situation is not the normal. Thank you, Shayla, and Penske Truck Rental, for the assurance that we can expect nothing but the best when renting again. I want to also commend Danielle Columbo, in the call center for a very efficient reservation, meeting our needs to make sure what we needed was reserved. She, too, followed up throughout the rental. From a standpoint of using Penske Truck Rental, I believe they have a great company, and with employees like Shayla and Danielle, they will continue to have repeat business. I know they will from us!”

“I entered the Chevron at Kelly Road to rent a small U-Haul truck on Thursday June 3, 2021. Small trucks were available in the rear of the store, but owner insisted on giving me a medium truck, stating it was a small truck. He kept saying the truck in the middle, I stated small truck, ended up with being charged and given a medium truck which I did not need. After returning back to the store stating it is a medium truck and I requested a small truck, the owner pointed to a chart on the wall trying to further intimidate me. I asked him if he knew the difference between a small and medium truck. This is what bothered me the most he told me that I would never be better than himself. I took a picture of the keys I returned and a picture of him to report to U-Haul He is a cheater and does not care about the people he serves.”
