Wanted to send something to my elderly parents (both in their late 80s) for New Year's Eve and the selection was not only impressive, but so was the service. Faraz handled it perfectly and ensured a smooth delivery. It went so well that I added on my own NYE platter for some friends we had in town, and it was also a big hit. Will certainly be coming to them again.”

The items she makes herself are all natural and full of scent! I talked a little about what I liked and what my signature smell was and she was able to show me items that were perfect!!!! This will be a shop that I will purchase from in the future as well for sure. She also has the ability to ship so it will make it easier as I am from out of town. “For me, Dokimeki is THE reason to come to the Northpoint Mall. It has become my go-to spot for gifts and for things to make my bed a little more cute. When you walk in, the first thing you'll notice are all of the stuffed animals stacked on top of each other. When it comes to stuffed animals, there is so much variety. There are large ones, small ones, fluffy ones, less fuzzy ones, pigs, breads, Pusheens, you name it! I've been coming to Dokimeki to get my girlfriend gifts, and she loves everything. I bought her a stuffed animal panda, and a bee and they have been an absolute hit with her. Sometimes, I just want to steal them for myself! The rest of the store is very Asian themed, with Japanese anime merchandise, kpop gear and even some Chinese trinkets. There really will be something for everyone. The vibe of the store is always lively, with Japanese music typically playing in the background and friendly employees. As long as Dokimeki exists, I'll always have a reason to visit Northpoint Mall. Just be careful when you visit, it's extremely tough to leave empty handed!”

“My boyfriend and I walked past the store on our way to dinner and it was closed. We looked in the window and saw it welcoming and inviting. So we decided that the next day we would go check it out. Glad we did.
Great items that are fairly priced. Loved all the local items. The owner and daughter were working. She told others that they normally don’t work on Sundays, but do come in to help if needed. Daughter seemed confused on some things, and it made the experience seem genuine. Lost a star as we weren’t greeted or even a hello when staff were walking the floor. As a manager in customer service and hospitality it’s the little things that matter! That said, I still highly recommend this place and will return the next time I’m in Cumming.”
