Patricia M.Navy federal's services are exempt from excellence at all levels of managers, bank tellers, and receptionists when entering and leaving. Excellent customer service is hard to find, but it is not a problem at NFCU.Many businesses need to use their model in serving the customer to stay in business.

Have been a member for over 25 years and hands down the best customer service whether you go to the bank or call on the phone anytime if the day. Was there on Monday and was able to set up a Money Market Account in less than10 minutes. They are always courteous and professional all the time. There is always a person when you arrive to help direct you to the right person and get your problem solved. As a retired Master Chief it is a pleasure doing business with this company

Forcing customers to stand outside is ridiculous. Time to change banks. There are employees standing around and every interaction with the staff is awkward and they are afraid of each person walking in. Then having to answer questions before I can get to a teller about why I am there is a stupid practice. If people need help or lost once they walk in, help them and ask them questions. Do not interrogate them as they walk in.

Please Beware of Navy Federal Credit Union. I have been a long time member now for many years and currently have a mortgage with them. In March of 2020, I started shopping around to refinance my mortgage from a 3.75 interest rate, since the rates were going down. I call navy federal and got a quote for a VA cashout refinance they told me that I could buy down the rate to 2.75 with about $15,673 lenders fees origination fees and closing cost with a credit score over 800 WoW! So I shopped around and found Prime choice lending let buy down the rate to 2.75 for a total of $5235. I finally closed on April 24, 2020. So it's my opinion that Navy Federal are not really here to serve the military community they are here to serve them selfs. Very disappointed with Navy Federal.
