“I have never complained about any Publix, however when I was grocery shopping at the Dahlonega Publix, I stopped at the seafood counter for 2 salmon filets that was on sale. The lady behind the counter had her back to me washing pans in the sink. I said excuse me, but she never turned around. I thought well maybe she didn't hear me, so I thought I will catch her again when I finish my shopping. I came back around to the counter and again she never acknowledged that I was standing there. She continued seasoning the seafood and never looked up. I know she seen me but did not acknowledge that I was standing there right in front of her. I know she wasn't blind, but certainly blind to customer service. I have never seen any Publix employees trat a paying customer this way, other than the woman who was behind the counter at 0830 on a Monday Night, in Dec 07. 2025”

“We have been using Lawrence Pharmacy since we moved to Gainesville in February 2020. Before moving here, we used a Publix Pharmacy in Stone Mountain, GA. The Publix Pharmacy here was different from the one we had used. We moved our business to Lawrence Pharmacy and have been SO happy. Everyone at Lawrence is not only professional but is very friendly. They do know your name and always are friendly. If you are looking for a wonderful pharmacy this pharmacy is for you.”
“I started going to wauka mountain pharmacy after knee surgery and stopped at another large retail pharmacy and was told it would be a five hour wait for my pain medication post surgery. I stopped at wauka mountain on the way home and they had my prescription ready and had sent my husband on his way back to drive me home within five minutes. I’ve been going here since then. There are not enough words to say how great everyone here is.”

“My wife was unable to get her progesterone due to a shortage. I tried reaching out to Walmart and Kroger pharmacies but even though they had inventory would not fill it if I was not an existing customer. At the recommendation of the Publix pharmacist I called Dawson Pharmacy. They said no problem, took our insurance and said they would call when ready. Took 15 minutes. Dawson Pharmacy is a compound pharmacy which means they are able to make their own and while I am not sure if that is why they did I was very happy with the results and the staff. It is refreshing to deal with a dedicated pharmacy that is not just a grocery store pill mill so to say. I do not mean to speak badly about in store pharmacies but now that I am a senior I will be moving my prescription needs to a pharmacy where I can build a relationship. Having a pharmacy you know is looking for interaction and alternative treatments is just as important as choosing a physician. My opinion for what it is worth.”

“Very helpful pharmacy staff. This is a part of the Northeast Georgia Medical Center group and also serves as the employee pharmacy for NGHS staff.In addition to offering pharmacy items they also have a limited offering of OTC remedies at greatly reduced prices. NGHS employees also get an additional 18% employee discount in all OTC items with their employer ID.This location also offers a drive through for pickup and good hours including Saturday's. It is rarely crowded as most people do not know it is here other than health system employees and patients who are a physician in the medical park offices.”
