I was grossly overcharged after turning my car back into avis. The discount code I had was not applied to the weekly rate and I'm a United States veteran which should've also given me a discount. There just trying to make money off the customer which is sad. Hertz would've just updated the rental with no problem so I'll go back to renting with them. And there is no way they couldn't talk to Rep at that location because they only 3 or 4 people working there which is why it took over 2 hours for my car to be returned. Terrible service and there supposed one of top rated lol they may as well be included in the bottom feeders if they have no more respect than that for there customers. I'll never rent here again they don't honor discounts or veterans at this location and don't leave if you do rent one they'll say you turned it in late lol

Company trip using their avis account. Overcharged for personal protection each day and fuel. They gave me the car with little over half tank and I returned full. Still charged me. Car was dirty, 71K miles. Damage on every part of the car. I took eight pictures before leaving. windshield was dirty, wipers smeared black crud where I couldn't see. Lucky there is a gas station near to clean up that mess. Going to Hertz next time. Never here.

The worse location of Avis! Do NOT RENT HERE!!! First of all, you schedule a reservation and when you get there they don’t have cars available. You come back & they make you wait over an hour for a car. I scheduled an Uber rental and I was told they didn’t have any cars, so they gave me an electric car, the car was defective, so I returned it. Fast forward, I got the new rental and was working with an employee by the name of Colina. I asked her how long I could keep the car because I was being charged every Monday for the week for the Uber rental, she told me I could keep it as long as I want as long as my payments went through. Every week my charges have went through. I returned the car on Monday only for them to tell me I owed $817?!!!! When I asked why, they told me my CC declined for the $352 for the previous week. Which was a LIE! I was never contacted or anything about that. Also they said I was charged additional fees because I was only supposed to keep the car for 8 weeks. There is nothing in the contract that states that and Colina told me a different story. I spoke to a rep at Avis who informed me that a contract was never written up for the week that I was supposedly charged for keeping the car & not returning it. When I asked for a receipt the guy told me he can only see the charges from his end and he gave me a receipt dated 2/5/24. I ended up calling Colina on her personal phone and she informed me that she was unaware that I returned the car and charged me $828!!!!! How can that transaction go through but not $352?! She said a refund was processed but it never was. I still never got a contract for the week they supposedly tried to charge my card, I never got a receipt for the $828 charge. Avis only gave me a $50 voucher for the inconvenience. No real reason why I was charged that amount and Colina ignored my messages when I asked her about my refund. NEVER AGAIN! I did a dispute claim with my bank. This place is so unprofessional it’s ridiculous.

This place is a joke. I prepaid for my rental just to be told they had no cars available when I arrived. I guess it is too hard to pick up the phone and call the customers to let them know. I even had to call customer service to get my refund. Shame on this company.

THE OTHER 1 STAR REVIEWS SAYING THIS LOCATION TRIED TO OVERCHARGE THEM SHOULD HAVE BEEN A REDFLAG. Hopefully all the 1-star reviews saying this location tries to overcharge at the end of the rental will be a red flag to others.The location was CLOSED on my return day (Sunday) and the hours posted on the door show they are closed on Sundays and that they do accept after hours returns (see picture).When I returned the car the next day (when they were actually open) they wanted to charge me an extra $100 for not returning when they were closed without after hours drop-off. To be clear they did not tell me they were charging me; they just hoped I wouldn't notice the extra $100 when I closed out.The agent told me they don't post their Sunday hours because they don't know what time they will get into the office on Sundays. When I told him I also called on Sunday and it kept rolling over to the national call center; he informed me that they do not answer the phones when they are working on Sundays. Basically, he says the policy is that the customer has to correctly GUESS what time an agent will be at this location on Sundays.Then the agent refused to let me talk to anybody in charge and threatened to call the police on me when I stepped aside to send an email to Avis corporate customer advocacy department.After telling me multiple times that he was calling the police on me... he noticed that corporate had fixed my account and closed it out. Then his whole demeanor changed, and he literally started sweating and nervously stammered out "you know I wasn't really going to call the police on you in front of your kids, right? You didn't really think I was calling police, right?"I have had some great experiences with Avis/Budget and I have had some less than awesome experiences with Avis/Budget this was by far the WORST.ALSO, when I showed him the broken rear AC control (controls literally flopping around) and a missing rear air vent in the ceiling. He said he knew about that but wasn't reporting it because "paperwork takes up too much of [his] time to fill out."That makes it even worse that the rear climate control was useless in 12 passenger van and our kids just had to suffer the whole time. (Since one the air vent covers was missing ALL the air going to the back went out the open hole in the roof above ONE of the seats and nothing came out of the vents above the other TEN passengers)Not to mention the van was filthy when we got it... to the point my kids found half eaten food throughout the van from a previous renter.

First time I rented a car from here I waited an hour and a half only to be told they didn’t have a car for me that I had reserved a month prior. Ended up going to Roswell to get a car and had a wonderful experience.Fast forward to today, wait an hour and a half and still no car. The manager is incompetent and rude. Make the changes to satisfy your clients.

Get a receipt before you leave or you will be overcharged! I dropped off a vehicle and the young guy took my keys and told me they would send me a receipt. They charged me for two additional days and late fees, but I returned the vehicle when I was supposed to. I'm not sure how a company gets away with fraudulent charging their customers.

Great customer service , it’s genuine and authentic. The guy there with Russian accent has great customer service obsession. They don’t try to get over on you ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Had a positive experience with the car rental agency. Booked a mid-size SUV, but upon arrival, it wasn't available. However, they provided a complimentary upgrade without extra charges. The pickup and drop-off processes were hassle-free. A minor hiccup with the initial vehicle availability, but overall a satisfactory experience.

ASK FOR ALEX!!!!!!!!!My husband and I have been shopping around for a car to purchase cash. In the meantime we have been looking at different car rental facilities. Avis was the first & closest location to our home.We arrived at the Peachtree location and was help by the kindest, most informative representative- by the name of Alex. He shared with us his passion for providing GREAT customer service and he helped my family get into an upgraded vehicle that was surprisingly UNDER our budget.It is also important to mention that my work does not allow me to make it to the physical location until the store is preparing to close. BOTH times my family traveled to the Peachtree Avis location- it was nearly 5 mins to close. Alex did not show any signs of frustration nor did he make us fee like we were being timed. He took his time answering ALL of our questions and made our needs HIS priority.We have had the rental some time now and when it is time to extend- we go right up to the location and work with Alex. Yesterday we were given a quote and we learned the best way to get member discounts - ALL THANKS TO ALEX.My husband I are grateful for the amazing customer service, knowledge and money saving recommendations for our long term rental.Alex listened to what we needed.
