“This Kinokuniya has a lot of space compared to other Kinokuniyas I've been to. Once you enter the store, you're greeted by the large Catbus right by teh entrance. It's super cute and definitely not something I've seen at other Kinokuniya stores! Purchasing books and manga here is a bit more expensive compared to online retailers, but you get instant gratification instead of waiting for the item to ship. There are a variety of items available including figurines, plushies, books, manga, stationery, and of course, a ton of blind boxes! I think this store has the largest quantity of Sonny Angels I've seen for sale ever. There are a few seats if you want to preview a book, but note that a lot of manga is sealed for purchase only!”

“Books for every interest and taste, all at reasonable prices! Staff is very friendly and welcoming, too. One tiny concern - cats roam these halls, so if you have a serious allergy or fear, you might want to avoid it. But otherwise, a quaint paradise for lovers of reading.”

“Locally owned, independent bookstore and stationery store. The stationery here is imported from Japan, and they are high quality Japanese goods. There is a selection of grocery goods that are also imported and books (which I assume are Chinese, but I don't speak/read Chinese so not entirely sure). The owner is incredibly kind, positive, and is so welcoming. She showed my husband and I pictures of her cats and provided all sorts of information on the stationery she carried. I've been here a dozen times or so, and I'm always excited to go back every few weeks to see what else has arrived in the recent shipments. Also, the prices here are SO reasonable. I haven't seen any markups compared to buying these supplies from huge name online retailers, so it's affordable for the quality of products you get; even better is that you get to see it in person before you buy rather than placing online orders and hoping it's a good product when you open the package. Absolutely recommend this place and encourage people to shop local whenever they can.”

“Oy Toys/And Thou Shalt Read is your go-to bookstore for your Jewish children's and pet toys, and children's books. Christian items are also available. It's also a great place for unique religious gifts - we all have Jewish friends we often don't know how to buy for at holiday times. I have never seen a bookstore with so much to offer in so little space! RuthE will find what you need whether she carries it or not, and she'll ship anywhere. Forget online, just ask RuthE for what you need and she'll save you the time browsing and researching with her vast knowledge and helpful tips. A must stop and shop in North Metro Atlanta!”

“What a great bookstore with a cafe and also a toy store. Our son had never been to a Barnes and noble, he loved it. I'm sure the next time we are in the states he wants to visit again.”

“I've lived in the area as a kid and just recently moved back. I loved this book store as a kid since it was so small it fulfilled all my cute library dreams reading in there haha. It is located in the Toco Hills plaza next to Kroger and Pikes, and the parking lot is huge so no worries on parking. The book store is small but is filled to the brim with books. I had a lot of fun browsing and bought two books. I heard there was a cat, but we did not see it on this trip. I am hoping to see it on the next one!”

“This place is AWESOME!! ( " 0") Like WOW!! They take used books and you can get a discount for used books in the store! They also have LGBTQ section in front. They also had a banned book (and I bought it)! Certainly coming back!! As a bonus, there were Girl Scouts selling cookies outside! What a great combo: books and cookies! Also for the couples and groups, you can rent out this bookstore on their website on Fridays starting at $50! Isn't that cool?! If a couple, you get the whole place to yourself, scavenger hunt, bottle of wine I believe, and something else I think. Either way, that's cool coming back soon!”

“My cousin and I came here to get souvenirs for her friends, and there’s so much cute and affordable stationary, like the stores in Korea have! I love the pens, and they have my favorite style of pencil pouches (cloth rectangular ones).”

“What happens when you show up unexpectedly to a small business? Usually you are turned away but not here! The owner was so gracious and accommodating! The kids had a great time picking out some beautiful new books and I was able to get some great ideas for future books and lessons for homeschool!”

“This is a neat Park primarily oriented towards hiking! One of my favorites. First the hikes. Main trail follows the Chattahoochee River and is realitively flat. Any trails branching off go up slight hills. Trails are hard packed dirt with rocks and roots, so good hiking boots are appropriate. Minimal blue blazes on the trails. My normal route is to hike a loop around the north side, South side, and Hewitt pond. This is about six miles in two hours. YMMV. Not busy but you will see folks on your hike especially along the river trails. The area is divided into North and South Island Ford, with connecting trails between the two. No trail names here, but each trail junction is marked with "IF xx". IF means Island Ford and xx is a number. If you have reasonable navigation skills, you can mark your progress by noting the IF 1, IF 2, etc. Three parking areas, so make mental note of the IF xx, if you want to find your car again. For example, the first parking lot is IF 21. Nominal parking fee. This is the HQ unit for CNRA and has beautiful park HQ building (pictured). Park rangers are here. Restrooms are here. Locals refer to this area as "island ford". Great outdoor hiking in the urban sprawl of Atlanta.”
