“I love this little Ace hardware on the south side of Savannah. It's so convenient, always very well stocked, and every member of the staff is friendly. Every time I go there it reminds me of what Savannah used to be and still can be if everybody will just slow down a little bit. There's a misconception about prices being higher at Ace hardware than Home Depot or Lowe's. I find that most of the things I need are actually about the same price and sometimes a little less, plus you can get somebody to help you find what you need really quickly unlike Home Depot or Lowe's, and both of those places are always out of what I need and I have to spend 20 to 30 minutes there just to find that out. I always leave the big box stores feeling disappointed either because of a bad shopping experience due to rude or the lack of store associates, not finding what I need, or their ever increasing prices. Not at Ace hardware! The prices are great and so is their customer service!”

“After a very unsavory experience with the paint department at Home Depot, I decided to come here to get paint I needed for an upcoming job out of state. “If you ever need to paint something, it makes more sense to me to go to the folks who know all about paint materials, supplies and the correct type of paint needed for that specific project. There is no other place I would recommend if you chose to paint outside the lines (see what I did there?) and go anywhere other than Sherwin-Williams Paint Store, especially this particular one. When I walked in the door, Nicole greeted my mother and I with a smile and a lovely greeting which made the visit even better because it's those little things that leave a large impression on the way I spend my time, energy and money. Nicole made me feel welcomed and like she was interested in my business. I told her about an old wooden table I had used in my classroom and now school office spaces that someone had painted orange a long time ago. The table is highly functional and I didn't care about the color because it was in excellent condition and it was cheap. But now, that old orange paint leaves pieces of itself every time I move the table to another school, school district, classroom or storage unit and today I have had enough...Well, at least the other day on day I visited Sherwin-Williams. Nicole asked me what I was doing and made a couple of recommendations and suggestions. She knew exactly what I would need in order to get the best out of the project. She went out to get the color I wanted and when it was time to ring my purchase, she realized I did not have an account. She quickly entered my information and BINGO!!!! I was eligible for a discount. Yay! I was very happy with my visit in this store and I will gladly return soon. Thank you!!!”
