The space itself is already stunning, but the staff — and the support they provided — are what made the day extraordinary.
PJ Fossi is an absolute rockstar. I don’t know how he does it, but he kept us calm, informed, and supported throughout the entire process, all while managing who knows how many other weddings at the same time. We feel so lucky that we got to work with him and the entire Red Gate team.

“This place was absolutely phenomenal!! 10/10 Experience. I booked this place for my baby shower and Arianna was amazing, she is very understanding and made the whole experience easy going. She was very welcoming and overall had a very comfortable/chill vibe. The place was beautiful and very spacious and definitely worth your money. She lets you have the place for 14 hours which was amazing, I didn't feel rushed having to set everything up, enjoy my baby shower and break everything down in a small window timeframe. Would HIGHLY recommend booking with her for any type of event you may have! Will definitely be back and be booking with her for future events.”
“This is our second time stopping here on our way down to Florida. Rooms were clean and beds very comfortable both times. Staff was friendly and helpful. We did not take advantage of any amenities but my 5 stars is for the clean room and extremely comfortable beds and pillows. The location is nice and close to the interstate as well. My only suggestion would be to update the TV services to include smart options like YouTube. Thanks for a great stay!”

“We came in for my son 16 birthday party and it was a great time our host Tory continue to come and check and on us immediately was on it as far as helping get what I needed to set up my don't truly enjoyed his self it was a last minute thing and it turned out great the food kind of pricey but u get your money worth we are so greatful”
“Had to book a room with them last minute after having an issue with another hotel. Amanda was working the front desk and was incredibly helpful. Even though they had limited availability they got us in to a room that accommodated my family for the night. Couldn't be happier with the service. Hotel was quiet and clean. Surprised they didn't have any kind of breakfast offerings other than stuff to purchase like pop tarts or packs of mini donuts but that's minimal. Free coffee available all day and night was nice. Would stay here again.”

“Excellent facility! I prefer a Handicap Accessible room and fortunately the King Suite with accessible shower was available. OMG! For some reason, they don't advertise this suite or they don't have any pics of the bathroom! I will remedy that. Their shower is large enough to put a shower chair in there. Loved it! Now for the bed: Loved it! I did not want to get OUT of bed! Wow! I travel a lot between Augusta and Florida. This hotel will be the hotel I stay at from now on (as long as that room is available ?)!”

“Definitely worth the visit. We really enjoyed the National Museum of the Mighty Eighth Air Force, particularly the depth of the personal stories throughout the exhibits. Learning about the individual aviators, their missions, losses, captivity, and what they endured during WWII gave the history a human dimension that was exceptionally well done. We also appreciated seeing the contributions of the Tuskegee Airmen and women in aviation included in the larger story.
What kept this from being a five-star experience was primarily the condition of some of the exhibits. Several interactive displays were out of order during our visit, and portions of the museum are beginning to show their age. Some photographs, graphics, and signage are visibly worn and would benefit from refreshing or updating.
One exhibit in particular deserves reconsideration: “Fly Girls of WWII.” I understand that “Fly Girls” is period terminology, and there is value in preserving historical language within an exhibit. But in 2026, these pioneering women deserve a title that better reflects the significance of what they accomplished. Something like “Women Pioneers in Aviation” could headline the exhibit while still explaining the historic “Fly Girls” terminology within it.
Overall, this is an important museum with tremendous stories to tell, and we're very glad we made time for it. With some investment in updating and maintaining the exhibits, it could be an outstanding five-star experience.”
