“I frequently go to this dollar general as I dash on the side. Everytime I’ve been in there Bree has always been super helpful. But tonight she went above and beyond. I came in 20 minutes before closing with 2 different orders with 21 products to find. Bree didn’t make me feel like a burden and she even helped me find everything and bagged everything double to make my order easier to carry. Always in a friendly mood and just an awesome employee who deserves recognition. Thanks again Bree!”

“I often see people complaining about businesses but I just want to give a shout out to whoever is now managing the Dollar General in Hardeeville! I was there today for the first time in awhile just to buy one thing, and I was very impressed that the store was so neat and organized! The shelves were stocked and tidy. The staff was also friendly! They were busy putting out new inventory and stocking the shelves even more.
I ended up buying way more than I had expected just because I enjoyed going up and down the aisles seeing all the new seasonal things. There was a period where I avoided that store because it was a cluttered mess. So if you have been doing the same, be sure to stop by and take a look!
And no, I don't know anyone personally who works there and I'm not affiliated with the store in any way! LOL!”

“Pretty Good place. They are not open most of the time due to staff shortages, but when they are it is pleasent and you do get greeted when walking in. There is "No Cashback" at this location and small bills needed if paying cash. This location also usually closes at 7pm although its noted otherwise.”
“I stopped visiting DG for a while due to all the chaos in the aisles and some of the behaviors that I noticed in some of the staff. I returned for the first time in several months last Friday and I was not disappointed. The store was clean. The aisles were organized, and the service was super friendly. A fantastic and very debonair gentleman by the name of Leo took care of me and I’ve never received such a great service at any of the locations. I don’t know who hired him, but thank you.”

“Went in there on a Sunday morning and the one employee Melissa Anderson there was constantly working, busy cleaning ,putting up merchandise and waiting on customers. She was very friendly and knowledgeable. I was a former store manager for the Woolworth company in the nineties, So that's why I love Dollar General because of the similar format.I love a lot of your stores but I think I love this one the most.A lot of Dollar Generals stores seem to have employees going through the motions,not this store.Ms Anderson deserves a raise and promotion.I hope Dollar General appreciates her as much as I do as a customer.”

I have live in Pooler, Georgia 4 years and never been to this location. Very put together store. I will be back. If you near stop by the selection is over the top.”
“Roses still have plastic silverware for only one dollar! Instead of the twenty or twenty eight spoons or forks per package, there are 51 pieces! With the price of everything increasing it may sound trival, but to a family of five to ten people it's a winner! There are other household productsfor only a dollar. Dinner to go trays are plentiful so load up to beat the next holiday rush.
Roses has ample parking spaces and is sensitive to the need of handicap parking as well.
Senior discounts are every Wednesday so don't forget to remind the cashier when completing your purchase.”

“The guy African American (black), my friends some like one over the other myself I like white German American Indian nottttt Caucasian German American Indian ; anyway , the guy that is taller and thinner he's literally always there at least when I go there he is maybe we are on the same schedule and also the Indian guy I think excuse me if it's not Indian anyway these two guys are the heart of the store if you ask me . They are always here asking you how your doing do I need anything , I didn't notice but now I'm seeing reviews with expired things being sold he noticed (Indian worker guy), noticed my stuff was expired and said o it's expired would you like a little discount I said sure very little dollar helps me . Anyway, he's so nice , sweet soft tones , and the African American guy I always forget to look at their name tags I will loook and come back with their names next time, anyway the thinner African American guy that works there he works mornings I think he opens a lot and the other Indian guy works afternoons evenings I think that's when I see them most anyway . They are just so nice and helpful always willing to help without the faces and or sounds just doing their jobs well very welll sometimes I can get a giggles out of the African American guy he's quiet”
“I have visited alot of Dollar Generals and ALL of the ones that I have visited were not organized, cluttered, customer having to step over merchandise, shelves empty even though there are boxes and boxes cluttering the isles and not clean. TODAY!!! I visited this location and for the first time EVER I was very impressed on how organized and clean this store is kept. Very CLean Not Cluttered At All. Customers can walk thru the isles without having to step over merchanside and are able to do their shopping. Please visit this location. You will not regret it. Great Group Of Ladies, Very Professional And They Take Much Pride of How Clean And Organized They Keep The Store. Job Well Done!!!”
