“My first time shopping at Altar’d state was a few weeks ago, and I was primarily looking for outfits for a music festival I was attending the following weekend. Naomi helped me find the perfect outfits, along with some items I added to my upcoming fall wardrobe. She was very kind and I greatly appreciated her help through my whole experience. Toni also helped me find a beautiful bedazzled denim jacket right before I checked out because it matched the hat I bought! They were both very kind and helpful and I really appreciate all of the help they gave me! I love Altar’d State and will continue shopping here!”

I came in at the end of September to look for a wedding dress for the 22 of October and these beautiful ladies got down with it. In less than 2 weeks my dress had been done and fit perfectly ❤️. “I visited the Panama location and loved the whole vibe of the store. My friend and I obviously wanted to take everything in the store home with us but since we were on vacation I decided on something small for my new apartment. I chose the moon sun catcher. When I brought the one from the shelf to the register, one of the associates told me that she had one already boxed up and if I would like that one. I was happy to since I would be traveling out and about for the rest of the day and out of state after our vacation was over. My advice is to LOOK at the actual item that is PRE-BOXED before you buy it. Mine was damaged and I feel like the associate knew that the boxed one was damaged because her and the associate at the register shared a look when she brought the box up. I didn’t look at the item and that’s probably my fault. Luckily I was able to fix it with soap, water and an abrasive sponge but it’s definitely lost some if it’s appeal now that the holo effect is gone. I’m not rating the store less than 4 because it is a cool store, everything was a reasonable price, and I can’t honestly say it was intentional but it seemed that way. I was able to somewhat fix the item but it is also altered now. It’s just disappointing.”

“Hidden gem of a gift shop! I drove by one day with my toddler and preschool boys in tow. I didn’t get to buy anything this trip (plan to go back), but the girls working the shop were so kind and welcoming! The store has everything from baby gifts to home goods to women’s boutique clothing! A must stop to shop sort of place!”

“I've visited this store located in the Avenue on Dallas Hwy. on 3 different occasions. Every time I've been there, I have been greeted and taken care of by the best staff I've ever seen in any retail store. These lovely ladies are so friendly and helpful. They know their products and sizes and will help you find what you need. Selection is excellent and every item I have purchased is well made. There is always a sale of some kind so prices are reasonable for the quality of the items you get. Ladies, treat yourself and stop by this location. The service alone is worth the trip.”

“This location is the BEST! When you walk in your are greeted by the Sales Associate which is always nice. It’s nice to be acknowledged. Not only that the story is very clean and organized. Not to mention they have SEPHORA? I was unbelievably happy. I hadn’t been in the area since 2019 and back then they didn’t have Sephora. So when I saw the sign passing by I had the biggest smile on my face because I was so excited! I went to Sephora and they had everything that I was looking for. Not to mention the Sales Associate who is a Beautiful young brown skin woman helped match me (bare minerals) and she helped me find the make up brush daily cleaner I had run out of! I definitely will come back!”

“I love SB Boutique! Why? I love it because the clothes are basically one of a kind. The owners buy one to 2 pieces in the one or two sizes so you if you don't get it when you see it, you will miss out. That's great, because that means everyone will not have on what you have on. The customer service is great - whether its in person, on IG or FB, if you have a question or inquiry - they respond asap. When you are in the store, they are honest about what looks good for you and your body type. They make every customer feel like family. I wish it was closer to my home because my closet would be filled with their stuff, but honestly it's worth a driver to D'ville!”
