“I had a really wonderful experience with Allied for my long-distance move! (Just for context, I moved from Savannah to Chicago. I have a two-bedroom 1,000+ square-foot apartment and, I believe, came in at roughly 4,000 LBs). Beth came to my apartment to assess my belongings and provide an estimate. She also provided me with tips, tricks and advice I would have never thought of. Afterwards, she was available and responsive when I had questions concerning different aspects of my upcoming move. Kaylee, my moving coordinator, was great with check-ins before, during and after my move, truly making the experience feel like I was an actual person. Before the move, she walked me through the expectations of move-out day, making sure I was as prepared as possible. During both the move-out and move-in days, she called during the mover windows to make sure that things were going according to plan and that I felt comfortable and satisfied with the progress. Afterwards, I have heard from her several times (between calls and emails) to make sure I have all my belongings and things arrived on the other side in-tact as I had more time to unpack. Just a really, really good customer service experience. And Kenneth, my driver...so great! The nicest guy, felt like he truly cared. He immediately put me at ease that my belongings would be safe, he really knew what he was doing and his experience was evident, he knew his local crews well and how to work with them. And his communication was awesome – he stayed in touch with me from the day before he showed up to my move-out, throughout his travels to my destination, and even afterwards to make sure everything went well. If at all possible, I would try requesting him again if I did another long-distance move. All-in-all, I would recommend Allied to anyone looking for movers, especially for a long distance move. I would also use them again! Thanks so much for such a great and truly easy and worriless experience.”

“Professional, responsive, flexible -- everything we needed during two very difficult moves that included offices, classrooms, a library, and several science labs. We would have been sunk without Sea Island Bonded Storage!”
