6/20: 5 stars for Erica who delivered our pod on 6/20. She was fast, friendly, & fantastic! Dropped our pod perfectly!

6/22: 5 stars for Oscar who handled our call perfectly after 4 hours of us trying. The double charges are pending and one should drop. Pick-up is now scheduled for the perfect day (let’s hope it happens!). Unfortunately, we will have to wait for 2 weeks for our pod to arrive at the new house.

Editing down to 3 stars because we scheduled our move date when we initially ordered. Seems that didn’t happen. There are double charges on our bank account while our pods account shows there is only one charge… and it states the pod is in-transit (INACCURATE - it has been delivered!) so we cannot schedule the move online (as the hold recording urges us to do ASAP because it’s such a busy time). We called with a massive hold time so we opted for the call-back. When they called back, there was no one on the line. Now on hold again for nearly an hour. Text support had too many messages and closed the conversation. Chat support went nowhere despite saying we were being transferred to a chat agent. We have been trying to reach someone for almost 3.5 hours now. If this call goes dead… zero stars. I really really hope our pod can get picked up in time so we don’t face fines/fees or another month’s rent. This is super frustrating as an active duty military family (out $500+ dollars right now due to the double charge) who already has enough on their plate with this PCS.

If we can get this resolved and have the pod picked up by our deadline and delivered in a reasonable amount of time, I will happily edit back to a 5-star review. Right now, extremely disappointed. We leave in a week and we have other things we need to do besides sit on hold for hours.”

“Professional, responsive, flexible -- everything we needed during two very difficult moves that included offices, classrooms, a library, and several science labs. We would have been sunk without Sea Island Bonded Storage!”

“We rented a 28ft u-pack for our 2650sqft house, paid for a month of storage and had it delivered to its new location. I went with U-Pack versus other brands due to the price point and what they offered. I really needed something this size, with storage and delivery. The customer service and delivery people were awesome. The trailer itself needed some TLC. It had a big patch on the roof that ultimately ended up leaking and ruining some of my things, but in the fine print it does state basically not to expect it to be completely sealed so I couldn’t be upset with them. I did have a couple of things broken in transit, nothing major, could have just been poor stacking during loading. The biggest thing I would have appreciated is communication about when the trailer was secured into storage and when it left. I had to call and make sure it had arrived and I had assumed I would have gotten notified of its arrival. Overall I was happy with the service and will use them again, I’d maybe ask them to find me a trailer with not as much roof damage if possible.”

“Pete and Ricky in the SAV terminal and Vinny and Jeff in the POM terminal are excellent to work with. I do NOT have a commercial account and as such, needed to ship my broken Suzuki DF150 Outboard Motor Lower Unit to Pompano Beach, FL to Outboard Wizards, LLC for replacement. Pete asked me to drive to the SAV terminal to drop off my Lower Unit, Ricky helped me get it out of my car, put it on a pallet, shipped it to the POM terminal and then onto Outboard Wizards, LLC to get it replaced. Then in the POM terminal, Vinny and Jeff worked with Outboard Wizards, LLC to get my replacement Lower Unit put on another pallet and shipped back up to the SAV terminal so that I could drive to the SAV terminal and pick it up. Not being in the Freight industry, the exceptional help of all of the folks at ODFL is very much appreciated. I would HIGHLY recommend ODFL for other folks.”
