“This was our first trip to Carpets of Dalton, despite having heard about it for years. We were greeting quickly by Dan Holcomb and shown the various carpets. We compared the quality to the quote we got from Lowe's and got a *much* better price than Lowe's could offer, but with the same protection, warranty, etc. Dan was courteous and helpful and did not pressure us into any particular grade of carpet nor tried any high-pressure upsells. Even on a busy Saturday, we were in and out in a little over an hour. We will definitely be going back. The money saved was WELL WORTH the 3.5 hour round-trip drive time.”
“What a great experience. I received 2 quotes locally in NC for Mohawk Revwood Premiere Sunbathed Pecan laminate flooring, both within dollars so very competitive. As I was about to commit I decided to check online and came across GA Carpet Industries/Dalton, GA, first time hearing of them. I found the exact item on their site, received an auto generated instant quote & thought it was an error since it was nearly $1800 cheaper so I messaged & received reply Monday morning from Breanne. To my surprise the quote was correct, it was $1800 cheaper! I then became skeptical..why so much cheaper, it must have defects or been returned, etc. Breanne confirmed it was all brand new & free from blemishes. We decided to go with GA Carpet. My biggest headache was shipping. They have strict guidelines for delivery, and inspection upon delivery to assure no damage, if damaged it seems it could take some time to get resolved based on some reviews I read, so this had me a bit worried. Items ships via tractor trailer truck. I contemplated driving 10 hrs to p/u myself to assure no damage, or just have it shipped. I had it shipped in the end, it went via Southeastern Freight direct to my husbands work. We saved even more money than expected shipping here rather than my house since it had a dock door. I did not buy insurance. It arrived in perfect condition, 2-day service, and installed beautifully with matching T-mold, and underlayment which I got from them also. “My experience with Carpet Wholesale Outlet was fabulous! Passed by the shop on my way to Kentucky as I knew that Dalton was known for carpets and rugs. Once inside they had floor to ceiling carpets and rugs of every size and shape! I picked out 2 small runner size carpet to place on either side of my King bed. They only had 1 of the rugs in stock but told me they would be getting one in shortly ( within the week). When I told them we were just passing through, the sales lady said she would hold the rug and I could pick it up on my return trip from Kentucky. She texted me a few days later and said the rug had come in. I told her we would not be passing through there until late at night. She kindly took the rug to her house and left it on her porch late at night and I picked it up when we drove though at about 11:00PM! I can't thank you enough for being so kind and considerate!!!”
