I have rented a bike here and bought a hat here on two separate trips to SSI over the years. The people are super friendly and welcoming and the prices are totally reasonable and normal and not tourist-gouging like what happened so often in beach towns sorry to say.
Also just a note on what kind of shop this is: this is a cool surf shop with respected brands, a good selection, and people who know their store and provide professional service. THIS IS NOT one of the many crappy gift shops with the same trinkets and junk that you find all over St Simons.

“Ronne has an outfit for every occasion and the good taste to help select the clothes that suit you. I can see how some would take offense, but I’d rather have someone be kindly direct than have me walk out looking a hot mess. The clothes range from boho to Jackie O and encompass everything in between. This is a small business owned by a hard working woman who does every job imaginable in the shop. I enjoy her so much, I never miss a visit when I’m in Saint Simons!”
