“Omg this place was a dream dollar tree compared to the one in my rinky dinky town. It had all the things and more! Every time I go into mine they never have what the YouTube crafters say they get at dollar tree, but this one does! I could spend $500 easy at a dollar tree just on crafting stuff so I guess it's good I don't live anywhere near this sexy store. My husband was so ready to leave but I was just getting started.
The employees were nice, customers weren't uptight like some places in the area.
Definitely recommend if you're a DIYer on a budget too.”
“I have visited many Dollar Tree stores in GA, SC and FL. This location is by far the best organized store and having everything I had been looking for. The customer service was above and beyond. This is my new favorite location to shop for Dollar Tree items. It is worth driving the 20 miles from my home.”
“First let me start by saying that I am an avid and some may say dedicated Dollar Tree Shopper/Fan! So I always look for one no matter where I am in the world and rate them in my head as soon as I enter as if they all belong to me and I’m on Undercover Boss or something ?.And, before you ask- yes, it’s that serious because I absolutely love these stores and expect them to exceed my expectations even if I’m just spending $1.25 ?.Lol, in all seriousness I do appreciate them and look forward to shopping them religiously. Every once in a while I come across one that is like the Grand Poobah of them all like this one.I walked in and was blown away at not only how organized and neat it was but how fully stocked it was also. I felt like royalty as if they did it just for me…. Ok, I felt more like a kid in a candy store but you get the gist of what I’m trying to say.Anyhow, they had just about everything I didn’t need (let my family tell it) because let’s face it what store can you get good essentials at a fraction of the price over, and over, and not frequent… Right? Who’s with me? Ok, enough about that. Let’s get to the kicker. As I get up to the counter with a hand basket overflowing with 10 more of the same items I already have at home; there was this friendly, energetic person, also known as the store’s manager working the register with no hesitation, he even had the eagerness to answer questions of those just walking into the store. He was doing more than one job at once and didn’t have one reservation about it. Mind you guys it’s the Christmas season so he was busy, the only cashier, and yet he did it effortlessly with glee. He was a middle-aged African American (I’m horrid with names, but I know descriptions.. ha!) who made me and my money feel appreciated. And if you know me by now, that is essential for me.For that I will pass up others along the way and detour to this particular one anytime! Simply because this place is like Dollar Tree Heaven ? who put this here? They deserve a raise .”
“Kenyona Was by far the most helpful and nicest lady at the store. She helped me find everything I needed. She took the time to show me the locations for the products I needed. and had the nicest attitude. Thank you so much for such a great service. I will definitely come back here.”
“The owners are a husband an wife team. They are the kindest, people u could ever meet. The wife has a very infectious smile and personality. They really care and try to please their customers, I wish all the owners of these various businesses here in Stonemountain had owners and employees as nice ,kind and professionally pleasing. They have God to guide them and that's the most important credentials ,u need on business and everyday life. Thanks dear”
“Thank you to the manager and young lady working yesterday who helped me out when I was locked out of my car. They were very respectful, kind and let me wait inside until the locksmith came. They need to hire more people like everywhere, amazing people.”
“This is my favorite place to go whenever I am trying to save some money and get some snacks/drinks. Although it may not be the best, it is definitely not the worse, especially for its low price.”
“I think when it comes to Dollar trees it's all about the location. The one off of Sandy plains road in Marietta is a great one yet now I live in Decatur and I have visited the one In Kennesaw off of Cobb Pkwy. Those two are a disaster with boxes and crap everywhere they're definitely looking for a lawsuit it's almost like they're asking for one. Because if anyone falls myself included an attorney will be involved. Regional walkthroughs should enforce safety protocols first and foremost. Most Dollar trees are unorganized and like to throw everything in the baskets at the bottom of the isles. But one thing that bothers me in particular is if your locks for lockers sell so quickly and sell out quickly, why are you not ordering more? Why are you not ordering a surplus if you know you're going to sell out within a day or two of the shipment arrival? That is senseless and keeping them from making money. Like everything else they should have options and should be ordering them in surplus. That's just a dumb move. Clean up the potential lawsuits....it's not a difficult job to manage a dollar tree. Then to change everything to $1.25. And add $5-$10 items is just stupid. Everything is cheaper at Walmart. It's started to look like Walmart for everything for from me from now on. The only reason I come here is to look to see if they have a lock which they never do and to get get gift cards and cheap gift bags or maybe some birthday decor in a specific color. Times are changing folks. For the worse nb”
“The cleanest, most well organized dollar tree I have ever seen. The cashier was very sweet and said that her managers were a big reason why it's so tidy! It was nice to hear that management is supportive”

“Love this FamilyDollar! The staff are always helpful and will literally walk you down the aisle to get what you're looking for. I highly recommend this location.”
“I'm usually greeted when I come in , but sometimes they're very busy. Today, the young lady helped me out with items that I can not find. The store manager was busy stocking shelves. I'd felt a little uneasy going to him cause he was talking on the phone through his earphones. But generally, this is always a great store. Items are very organized, and everybody's very pleasant”
“I have been going to this store for years off and on. It's always well stocked and clean. The staff changes often but the Manager has been there for years. He is very helpful and nice. He always speaks and remembers me whenever I come in.”
“Very well organized location! I was on a hunt for the magnetic bookmarks for an event and found them at this location! Very clean store and the employees definitely build rapport with their customers. One customer insisted on giving my cashier, Deborah a lift home because it was raining on the night that I visited! You can’t find that kindness everyday!”
“We have visited the store often and all the staffs are very friendly and kind! Quality products for cheap price! Especially if you are a small family you can buy several things here and it’s a great way to save some money”
“I was able to bring my service dog in with me with no questions or problems. Even when she peed inside, they were not mad, it just got cleaned up. The staff is kind and the store was mostly in order. I found everything I needed.”
“I always find disinfectant spray alcohol cleaning supplies and it's a very clean store, I they don't have it all the time but they are on the Shelf when I pop in.”
“My visit today was more than pleasant, great customer service skills from one of the cashiers. I walked in the store, looking for a particular item as a teacher, I was only able to find four out of the 14 that I needed. She rang my items up, and asked me if I had a moment she will check the back. Shortly after she came out with a whole box of 3 divided compartment containers, totally made my vision come true!”
“This is one of my favorite Dollar Tree stores. Mel and Alyssa are sweet as can be. Not sure if it was the manager, but I overhead him bad mouthing other employees behind their backs and mentioning he may just quit. Not acceptable behavior to be talking about other employees badly behind their backs and complaining about having to stock the shelves. Likely the reason why the store has a hard time keeping employees. They are short staffed and on a few occasions, the store has been closed during regular business hours.”
“This dollar general is really clean compared to a lot of the other ones I’ve been to. Items fully stocked and facing the front on the day of my visit. Normally the items are still in boxes on the floor at the other stores and I understand that they may be short staffed….. there is a young man African American not sure of his name but he is always there and the last time I came in the customers were hostile cursing and yelling because they couldn’t be a little more patient and understanding . He didn’t get out of character and maintained professionalism I just wanted to say thank you! Keep it up!”
“It's an understaffed dollar general - idk why people have such high expectations when going hereThe cashier lady was very sweet and polite while ringing me up. The cc machine was acting up and she had to reboot it for me, and everyone in line was patient and kind about it. I noticed she would greet everyone who came in, and customers would kindly greet her back.Perhaps if we all made the smallest effort to be kinder and more understanding with each other, we wouldn't be trying to find a reason to be upset all the time.”
“Overall I was impressed and I rarely say that especially about FD and those type of stores. The store was cleaner then I expected. The employees were a little rude, and ignored all customers so I can't take it personally I believe it was just a lack of training.”
“Had a fine experience. Items I needed were in stock. The two employees I interacted with wrtecboth friendly and nice. No complaints here. I do notice the $3-5 section expands, I guess becoming more like dollar general. I like the $1.25 items. It’s a good place to buy certain items much cheaper than the bigger stores like Walmart and target.”
“This was my first time at this location, so I didn't know where things were located. The cashier was nothing less than fabulous. Thanks for hiring such a pleasant and nice associate.”
“My go to store for great deals on so much stuff! Paper goods, gift bags, gift cards, bathroom toiletries, kitchen gadgets, kitchen supplies, knick knacks, games/gifts/diversionaries for grandchildren!!”
“Quality of items has certainly improved in recent years. Store was a bit messy but really can't complain when you're spending such a small amount for items. Service is usually very good.”
“Popped into here for fun and was happy to find it filled with lots to pick from including arts and craft items, frozen and pantry food, office supplies, and snacks! Its still hard to believe that the items are no longer only a $1, thanks to inflation. Overall, I had a pleasant experience and ended up coming out with much more than expected. The cashier was super nice and bubbly so I will definitely be coming again.”
“Good place to shop for low cost things. Everything is a dollar, for real. NOT like other locations namely 'dollar store', but tagging for dollarS. Tax here is 8%, fyi.”
“I’m from kennesaw but work down in the area and this is by far my favorite DG to come to. It’s so clean and Miss Joyce is always SO sweet when I come in to shop! I typically have a full cart and she’s so patient every single time.”
“DOLLAR TREE STORE FOR $1 PER I TEM IS AWESOME! I BUY SUPPLIES - BROOMS, CLEANING SUPPLIES, HAIR CLIPS, GIFT CARDS ARE GREAT BUYS SAVES MONEY OF SAME ITEMS AT OTHER MAJOR STORES! my first time at DOLLAR TREE i had to ask a staff is it true everything is $1??? WOW i love DOLLAR TREE STORES HAS GREAT STUFF FOR EVERYTHING!”
“I'd like to give a shout-out to Jules and his team. The last couple of months have been a complete turn around. The store is clean smells good and there are no more boxes just laying around. I hope they keep up the good work and are appreciated for all they do.”
