“Treasure trove thrift is a gem, beautiful quality clothing and accessories. I had been looking for a descent luggage at an affordable price and after 2 days of searching, I found it here! Also bought a beautiful elegant navy blue dress with gold zipper on the back. Doris at Treasure Trove thrift was so helpful with helping me find what I came looking for, she is a gem herself and such a blessing. “I love making the trip out to this shop once in awhile. Such a great mission behind it, involved in the community and staffed by friendly volunteers. The prices are amazing for the quality of items, which includes clothing, shoes, accessories, household goods, collectibles and more (although like in any thrift store you have to be prepared to spend a lot of time looking!). The consistent seasonal rotation of stock keeps things feeling fresh. They also have a newsletter you can sign up for that is really helpful for keeping up with the various specials they run. Sometimes everything is half off for example, or you can fill up a whole bag for x$ or like today I spun a wheel and got a 20% discount.
Good to know: they are not open every day so be sure and check the hours, and be aware there is a whole other part of the shop upstairs you have to go outside and around to access, with clearance items and bigger things like furniture.”

Not to mention, you can find some great clothing and household items in the store. “***MY FIRST ADOPTION EXPERIENCE!!!***

So I was feeling lonely because I live alone again. My estranged husband had a tabby and he loved me very much. I missed him so much and I missed living with a cat. So I looked up the nearest adoption agency. This place was the nearest one towards me. I was looking for a red tabby but none was in stock. I was told I had to put in an application. I was bit frustrated and this was my first time adopting. I prepared much as I could for my new cat. Getting toys food etc. I spoke the nice lady at the front desk that if I put in an application today, I could be seen for an interview. So, I quickly put in an application and I was seen by JP. The interview was interesting to say at least. He acted like I was gonna cook him ? I assured him that my cat will be in good hands. He will Have his own bedroom and bathroom! He will be living better than most Humans! After the interview, I was approved to look at a cat Or two kittens. The kittens were camping, but I knew I just could not have to catch us at the same time. So I found an adult tabby that was so sweet and has ember eyes. I got the playroom started to warm up to me. I knew I found my kitty! I chose him. I felt bad for the little guy because he only been at the shelter for three hours. And to go to a new home the very same day must be overwhelming for him. After my paperwork and my photograph with my new cat, leaving a gratuity, I finally was able take him home! Thank you to the vet for giving him his meds ( Gina I think if I got the name wrong I’m so sorry) I couldn’t be more happier taking home my very first Adopted animal! Elijah Ember Poore is loving his new bed and bathroom!! I’m slowly getting him used to his place. THANK YOU GUYS FOR ALL YOU DO!!”

“Such a lovely shop with incredible staff! Yes, sometimes the prices are a little higher than you'd want - they do their homework on items and price accordingly. But you're shopping here to support a small business and the community, remember? I've found some really cool items here, and they're my go to when I need something like random fabric, craft supplies, or holiday decor.”

“Hi Mr. Williams - On Sunday, my 4.5-year-old, 77-year-old mom and I decided to drop off donations to the Goodwill location on Northside drive in Atlanta. I had an important teaching opportunity at a conference that day but wanted to be sure to spend time with my family beforehand, so we all decided to go into the store itself to look for toys to donate to my son’s school. He (we) had so much fun perusing and picking out affordable toys that we lost track of time and somehow it was 20 minutes before I had to be seated for my teaching opportunity. In a panic we quickly returned everything to buy later. The whole way home I mentally kicked myself for not paying closer attention to the time. 3 hours later my training ended and I rushed back to Goodwill to see if our items were still there. Luckily, they mostly were! I was beyond excited that I didn’t have to go “shopping” again and could get in and out to prep for my son’s first day of school. Before completely leaving I ended up needing assistance and encountered one of your above and beyond sales associates, Trena. Her attentiveness, support and kindness nearly caused me to walk away in tears. We both agreed that I shouldn’t do so because then we’d both be in tears! Trena restored my faith in humanity and reminded me that people are mostly good. She, however, was better than good.

Writing this doesn’t feel sufficient to describe the level of customer service that I received, which surpassed the standards of any company and certainly any customer service that I’ve received in probably more than a decade. She even somehow managed to sign me up for a Goodwill loyalty membership, (something I never usually sign up for in any other store) which showed me as a business owner that she is skilled and that she never lost sight of the company’s expectations.

I realized after this encounter why I was supposed to lose track of time before my big teaching opportunity that day. It wasn’t so that I could internally beat myself up about better time management in the future. It was all about my chance-meeting with the gem of a human being that you all get to work alongside each day. It made a lasting impact on me that I will always carry with me. Though I had plans to teach at a conference on Sunday, I was the one who learned and walked away with many important lessons that day. I have and will continue to reflect on those lessons and share them with my loved ones and those that I serve in my own work as a psychotherapist.”

“This is one of the better Goodwill locations I've visited. The store is exceptionally large and feels more like a department store than a typical thrift shop. The clothing selection appears to be a step above what you'll find at many other Goodwill stores, and the home goods and other non-clothing items were generally in good condition.
My biggest criticism is the growing amount of new merchandise, candy, and seasonal imported items mixed into the store. While I understand the business reason for it, it takes away from the traditional thrift-store atmosphere and treasure-hunt experience that many shoppers come for.
Overall, it's a clean, well-stocked location with quality inventory and is definitely worth a visit, even if some of the newer retail offerings feel out of place.”

“I’ve been a loyal customer here for a while since I only live 5 min away, and I really love the selection at this location. There are always so many items to look through and a huge variety of clothes, which is great.However, my experience today was pretty frustrating. I stood at the checkout for 15 min. because there was only one cashier working. I really think this shop needs to hire at least two more cashiers so customers can actually check out faster.”

“This is basically my fifth time bringing donations here. My mom originally recommended this location to me, and I’m so glad she did because I’ve always had such a great experience!

“This goodwill is one of the better ones in Atlanta. It's not the best one tho but its still one to go and check out if you are in the area or are a thrifter or goodwiller. But like any other goodwill this one is hit or miss but anytime that I have went to this one ive always walked out with a purchase. So if you are in the area and like thrifting then this pull be a stop to add to your list. I gave 4 stats cuz I could give three and a half stars or I would have. ⭐⭐⭐⭐”
