“Stopped in here while shopping on River St. they had beautiful art by local artists. When we asked about a specific jewelry artist the woman working went out of her way to get us the name and address. Loved this beautiful little shop on the river!”

“City Market is one of Savannah’s most vibrant and enjoyable spots to explore. It’s full of life, music, art, and great food, all set within a charming historic atmosphere. Walking through the market, you’ll find local boutiques, artisan shops, galleries, and plenty of places to grab a snack or a meal.
The open-air layout makes it easy and fun to wander around, and there’s almost always live music or street performers adding to the energy. It’s a perfect place to relax, people-watch, or pick up unique souvenirs you won’t find anywhere else.
Whether you’re visiting during the day or at night, City Market has a friendly, welcoming vibe and truly captures the spirit of Savannah. A must-see!”

“I am relatively new to Savannah and gratefully and unexpectedly discovered Friedman’s. They have framed more than several things for me this past year. They are always very kind, courteous and professional. They help you pick out the right frame for your project and they consistently do excellent work! I am so glad I found my place.”

“First I want to thank the owner Cindy who did a one on one class with me tonight. Her and her daughter were very sweet and welcoming. I went for the first time to check out the open class and even though I was the only one who signed up, she did not cancel and we had a great time. If you are looking to relax, escape the day to day busy schedules I highly recommend signing up for an open paint night. She also does parties of all kinds. If I could give her 10 stars I would but 5 will have to do!! ?”

“A beautiful little piece of the African diaspora right in Savannah. Loved the authentic pieces of art and crafts from the Continent. But even more than that, we loved the energy and care from Mr. Richard, one of the owners. We will be visiting this shop EVERY time we are in Savannah!”

“Great little place to view some amazing work! I went here with my boyfriend over the summer. This is a perfect place to meet the artist behind the art and discuss commissions if you want to

The only downside is there’s no AC ?‍↕️”

“Fantastic art gallery with local artists! The artist working the gallery had her work displayed too and it was gorgeous. She walked us through the different artists and gave us stories about the artists and pictures displayed. She had a painting of a blue crab up on the wall and it was beautiful.Skip some of the tourist traps like the Prohibition Museum and visit here instead!”

“Enjoyed every second in this gallery and enjoyed discussing the French countryside and Savannah with the artist. Would recommend going in for the art and staying for great conversation - she is beyond welcoming and kind. Everyone compliments out pieces we acquired and we cannot wait to go back.”

“Great gallery with a lot of variety! Because it is a co-op, there is an artist working the desk everyday so it is always fun and interesting to talk to them about their work and their fellow artist's work.”
