“First time there, a very pleasant atmosphere, amazing people who provide a service for our children free of charge. That's what I call a community working together for the good of others. Much respect to the volunteers. ?”

“I had an amazing time touring the home of Juliette Gordon Low with the Girl Scout troop that I volunteer for. There was so much history and I enjoyed learning interesting facts about the family and seeing all of the different art pieces and furniture in the home. Our tour guide Sarah was very knowledgeable and friendly as well as was willing to answer any questions that our Girl Scouts had!”

“I don’t know where to begin with explaining how fabulous this facility is. There is something for the whole family! Our little one did the group and private swim lessons and it’s the most organized, safe, and fun program for kids and parents to meet while the little ones splash and perfect their skills. The instructors are patient, and extremely knowledgeable scaffolding the instruction as your child learns the basics of swim. My family is grateful to have found this facility.”

“Constructed between 1873 and 1876 and designed by architect Detlef Lienau, Hodgson Hall is one of the oldest purpose-built library buildings in the United States. It was commissioned by Margaret Telfair Hodgson and Mary Telfair as a memorial to William Brown Hodgson.
The building has undergone several modernizations and expansions over the years, including the addition of the Abrahams Archival Annex in 1970, the acquisition of the Jepson House Education Center in 2011, and the completion of a new archival wing in 2021.

“Savannah’s first and only prop house not only can fortify most any film or theater set dressing needs, it serves the public.

Film Biz Recycling is also a nonprofit donation site for local productions to donate (for a tax deduction) these items and keep them circulation in a local charity or another creative project rather than a dumpster.”

“A treasure trove for every kind of shopper!
I always enjoy visiting Habitat for Humanity ReStore. Every trip feels like a new adventure—whether you're looking for brand-new items or gently used treasures, there's something for everyone. You’ll find everything from light bulbs and carpets to furniture, construction materials, vintage pieces, and even appliances like microwaves, beds, and freezers. It’s a wonderful place to discover unique finds while supporting a great cause.”

“What a great experience. They have very large comfortable recliners and Netflix. The staff is very professional & caring. I gave Platelets so it took a couple of hours. Be sure to bring a sweater because it gets cold in the room. They gave me 2 warm blankets. I will definitely give again soon. I encourage everyone that reads this take the time to give blood or Platelets. There is a critical shortage due to the hurricanes and wildfires.”

“Typical Restore. A bit heavier on the furniture and building goods than some other similar stores. Limited quantities housewares, books and things. It was a little warm in there the day we were there, but it was shaping up to be a very hot day outside.”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Grateful for the service here. I was able to get a shower today, and it made a big difference. The space is helpful, the staff supportive, and it’s a blessing to have this resource available. Thank you.

Yesterday the volunteer went out of the way to make sure I had a vegan meal to eat. Went at 8 PM hard a great speaker plus I gained another wisdom on the physiology of homelessness it requires patience which the staff and volunteers try to put into practice
Friday **“Brothers, I want to thank Old Savannah for letting us come here and have a shower. That’s a blessing, and I am grateful. I understand the struggle with addiction—I choose yoga and breathing, but I know how it feels to need something to hold onto.

When slippers and things go missing from here, it’s not just the Salvation Army we’re taking from—it’s ourselves. This is the only place many of us have to shower, and if we lose it, we all lose. I pray that whoever has taken finds it in their heart to bring them back. Let’s protect this place together, so it stays here for us. Peace.”**”

“This is my favorite store to shop at! Brooke does an amazing job with her branch and her staff are all incredible, especially Christian. I've never met someone who is so dedicated to his job, and has such a strong work ethic. You can tell he genuinely loves his job and the patrons. He always brings a big smile to my face whenever I see him working. He is one of the best employees, his personality is as big as his heart!!”
