“I love shopping at Blessingdales. The prices are reasonable and I always find great items for my home as well as clothes and accessories. I find that some other thrift stores price their items above what the item is actually worth, but Blessingdales is just right. They even changed their store hours to 10am to 6pm Monday - Saturday!”

Yesterday the volunteer went out of the way to make sure I had a vegan meal to eat. Went at 8 PM hard a great speaker plus I gained another wisdom on the physiology of homelessness it requires patience which the staff and volunteers try to put into practice

When slippers and things go missing from here, it’s not just the Salvation Army we’re taking from—it’s ourselves. This is the only place many of us have to shower, and if we lose it, we all lose. “Typical Restore. A bit heavier on the furniture and building goods than some other similar stores. Limited quantities housewares, books and things. It was a little warm in there the day we were there, but it was shaping up to be a very hot day outside.”

“Staff was friendly, we came at the end of the day so they were putting bins out for the day - weren’t allowed to look through those, so picking was slim. I just recommend not going at the end of the day. Over all it was nice, and we did find a few things.”

I've never met someone who is so dedicated to his job, and has such a strong work ethic. You can tell he genuinely loves his job and the patrons.
