The Present is a charming and comfortable accommodation located in a quiet square facing a small park in downtown Savannah. It is housed in a gorgeous vintage building with a beautiful outside courtyard and a great balcony. The rooms are awesome, featuring an old school, classic southern vibe with a blend of modern and classic styles. Guests can expect large windows, wooden floors, fireplaces, built-ins, walk-in showers, and comfy large beds. Some rooms include a kitchenette and a semi-private entrance. The location is super walkable to anything downtown. Check-in is super easy, without a front desk; guests receive an email and a text with all the information. The staff is helpful and communicative. There is a free coffee station. The property offers great value and a great price point, though costs can be higher during peak times like St. Patrick's weekend. Note that as an older building, it has less sound insulation and may not be the best fit for noise-sensitive folks. Street parking is available and reasonably priced, but it is not dedicated free parking. Some guests wished for a small common kitchenette or more common area furniture. Overall, it is a far better spot than many others in the downtown area, with guests frequently stating they would absolutely come back and stay again.
