“Michael at Transmission Hero is one of my all time mechanic hero's. it took three times to find the leak in my trans and get it right and by God he did! After the second try Michael was humble and honest enough to admit to me that on the first two tries he had his 'not as skilled as him' guys do the job and thats why i was back for the third try. Once he laid HIS golden hands on my trans it was healed. During all of this i was totally expecting the usual bullshit of "Well thats a different leak and it will cost more. ..." he did non of that. After the leak was fixed my trucks check engine light came on. i took it to my friend and truck God Kevin at Coosa Valley 4 Wheel Drive. Kevin found that one of the batteries was not only different from the other, but that it was a totally different TYPE of battery. I took pics and sent them to Michael. Michael and his friend immediately jumped in his lory and drove the 15 or so miles to Coosa Valley 4 Wheel Drive. Turns out one of his 'not so skilled' guys drained the battery and instead of informing Michael he just tossed in a battery from an old jeep sitting around the yard. Once again Michael and his friend jumped in his lory and went and bought a brand new battery and installed it on the spot. Michael humbly apologized for all the shenanigans regarding the trans leak, never attempted to gaslight me to charge me more and promised to give a glorious ass chewin to the "not-so-skilled" workers. What a guy. I cannot recommend him highly enough. Thanks Michael and Angel. you kids ROCK!”

“Jessie rebuilt my transmission during April of 2025. During the cold weather of January of 2026 , I got into my truck and it would not shift. Called Jessie about the problem and he was at my house the next day during the snow. Turned out to be nothing related to the rebuild. A plastic connector had broken on shifter. “My name is Jeremy Spangelo and Ihad a tune up done at pep boys on Nov 2nd. Still had a check engine light on for a week due to their code reader not working. Took it to them again a few days later and code was cleared. Check engine light came back on Monday. So I took my 2020 Dodge Ram hemi to Andys Garage. They did a very detailed diagnostic test which cost about $150 ( kinda pricey but totally worth it since they have great equipment). Stacey was a huge help and I was quoted $7,900 for the to replace my hydraulic lifters and cam shaft.....which is actually a pretty intense and time consuming job. So they kept my truck for a week and Stacey offered to give me a loaner vehicle which I respectfully declined since I could drive my wife's care. Parts were a little over $3000 and labor was a little over $4000. It took about a week due to the mechanic(s) taking there time and making sure that everything was done right (also imcluded was the wait time for the parts that they needed to complete the job right the first time instead of trying to do a rush job...( much respect for the mechanics being so passionate, diligent and knowledgeable). I couldn't pay the whole balance at once so Stacey helped me get qualified for a payment option which will definitely help due to currently being a one income household. Stacey was extremely nice,sweet and very sincere about everything that was going on not only with my truck but with my personal life. I got to pick my truck up after it was fixed and not even a half mile down the road, my check engine light came back on( was a knock sensor) so I called Stacey and she had me bring it back and she kept apologizing (she also showed me pics of the mechanic working on my truck and how much had to be taken out....long tedious job). So Stacey got me a loaner and stayed last the closimg time to get me situated,for a few day since it was on a Friday when I picked my truck up. (Closed on weekends which I completely understand) Stacey calls mw at work to inform me that my truck is fixed and I didnt have to pay anything extra because the maintenance is under warranty. If I could give 5,000 stars I would and I definitely recommend Andys Garage. FYI $7900 was the cheapest quote I could find....not only in Rome but also in Cartersville, Adairsville, Calhoun and as far south as Marietta. Dodge dealership quoted me almost $13,000. So in closing I gotta say a humongous THANK YOU TO STACEY, GEORGE and to the mechanic(s) who worked on my Truck. At almost 130,000 miles.....Black Beauty (my truck) is running like a brand new Truck. Just to show that I am not a bot, Georgia beat Georgia tech 16 to 9. They also offer military discounts.Thanks again for taking the time and making sure that my truck was fixed and running smoothly again.
