“Not much going for it? As one of their slogans says, Keep America Beautiful: Swipe your feet when going out. But then... even though their prices are all over the place, sometimes up to double the competition (=occasional merchandise stores) you may also find items at a price as low as 20% of the usual superstore. Yes, buy five here for the price of one there. Plus, some items that no one else carries. However much fun they do with their slogans of their own selves, they are definitely better organized than most other occasional merchandize stores. If you become members, you will be getting a 15% off of a total purchase every now and then. And some of their inventory, like furniture, mattresses etc, are not cheap items to begin with and usually marked at half the regular retail price here. Some may be production seconds (=defective) but then they may just as well be production overruns. Schedule your major purchases and save. Not perfect, but easily the best of their kind in town.”
“More standard inventory here than in occasional merchandise stores, plus some good degree of order. Prices are wherever they may get you, from half to double elsewhere, so you better shop everywhere, if you have the time. But generally, there are items for which you can depend you will always find here at prices as low as half the competition. I do not visit often, but still regularly.”

“Not much different than other locations of the chain. Narrow aisles, order might have been better, cleanliness average. Speed of service varies, but usually good and polite staff, definitely above average for the chain. Few years ago they started the $1.25 per item policy, today the majority of their items is $1.50, but still lower than some (not all) groceries and the neighbouring superstore.”
“I've had good experiences at Dollar general I've had bad experiences at Dollar general. Just depends on your cashiers and some of your employees if your attitude bad to start with towards your customers then you don't need to be there that's just my opinion. But as far as I'm concerned Dollar general is one of the best stores to go to for all your daily shopping needs if you can't get to another store and it's affordable.”
