Wife & I were cruising through Savannah in July 2023 on a newly purchased boat we were taking back to Florida. Air conditioning died in middle of night. Called Thunderbolt at 8:00 am the next morning and spoke with service manager. He said come on over as an HVAC vender was scheduled to be on site that day and he was certain they could take a look at it.Turns out water pump had given out (17 years old). We had spare on board and Thunderbolt replaced it that day. In 95+ degree weather!Everyone involved from service department, to marina office & dockmaster, and to billing department were very helpful and gave great service. Can't say enough about them.Service: General repairs & maintenance

What a find! We needed a transient slip for the night, found this marina online, and could not have been happier. Super friendly and helpful staff. Gorgeous area, nice restaurants within walking distance, well kept up facilities and dockage. Climate Change will be back!

Nice facility + great courtesy car (a rarity). Easy to Uber into heart of Savannah from here. Helpful staff.

Absolute worst...stay away. Long story short, my vessel left in worse shape than when it entered the yard. They take no responsibility for their errors.

This review is for the marina not the boatyard. Harbor master never answered the radio or phone after multiple attempts with the knowledge of the time of our arrival. We sat off the dock waiting for instructions with no communication, so finally pulled in to fuel dock. He briefly came off his smoke break, that he is obviously always on, and briefly verified who we were. No help with lines and no other communication! Never have I ever seen such unprofessional staff work at a marina. I understand the desperation of the employer and the lack of qualified employees these days; just be warned that the marina portion of Thunderbolt is "do everything yourself". We've been here several times prior to this stay and had no problems. We give decent tips to those that give us a hand, but there was no one that fit that bill this trip.

Quiet Marina. Clean restrooms/showers. Hal is very friendly. Courtesy car available for re-provisioning. Some restaurants within walking distance. Must try Tubbys. Great happy hour. Bacon wrapped scallops are delicious!

They kinda f***** over a youtube channel by repeatedly increasing the daily rate of them having their salvaged boat there, some darth vader tier stuff. Can't recommend doing business with them but then I'm a random person on the internet so do as you will.

Great boat yard! The most "on-time" yard we have ever visited! Great personnel, great Krispy Kreams, Karen is awesome as is Rob on the docks! You will see the smallest tugs to the largest ships! Amazing place to just sit and watch! They do it all! The ONLY complaint, and we mean only, is they charge you storage fees when they are working on your boat on the hard. They are a great yard with great folks! We will be back!Services: General repairs & maintenance

I am SO glad I found this marina. I just did a Google Maps search & this one was right off the Intracoastal Waterway so I figured I'd give them a call. They had available transient slip so I booked it. When I arrived they helped me dock (being single handed that's huge.) The service was great. All the employees were really nice. They have a FREE Courtesy car. They have all the expected services (Laundry, Pump Out, Fuel). The showers were clean and in good working order. They also deliver donuts to your boat every Morning (I don't do donuts, but it's a neat tradition & the thought that counts). The docks are all in great shape / well maintained. Probably some of the best I've seen. (No broken cleats, or power pedestals, concrete all in great shape, ramps coated with non slip and no rust in sight). They even have on sight mechanics. Really top notch. I couldn't be happier with my stay and 100% would recommend / return here.

Super helpful staff. Can't remember his name but he used to work for bass pro and now he works here. Just a shout out to him for his continued awesome customer service. They also have a great supply of product.

I recently took my boat in for some much-needed structural repairs and I am super pleased with the results. TMI did a superb job with re-skinning the bottom of my tri-toon boat as well as painting/burnishing all toons. They went above and beyond by welding the new aluminum plates instead of using rivets. The underbelly of my boat now looks to be bullet proof! They also did a great job repairing a toon, the diving board, as well as installing a new ladder. Their work is top-notch, and we are lucky to have them in our area. Everyone I delt with was professional and friendly, especially Karen Pranschke and President Ernie D’Alto who treated us like family. Thank you everyone at TMI!!!
