3017 E Victory Dr, ThunderboltWe had a great dinner here. I had the cashew chicken and hubby had the pineapple curry chicken. Each was around $20. Both came with jasmine rice. Portions were generous, and presentation was beautiful. Food arrived quickly and had good flavor.

2815 River Dr, ThunderboltWe had a great lunch. I had a Caesar salad. It was huge with tons of cheese and homemade croutons. The dressing was light and flavorful. Hubby had a sandwich that was grilled cheese with pulled pork and a fried egg on Texas toast. For his side, he got the beans and rice. The beans and rice were delicious. Great flavor -- some of the best we've had. The sandwich was really good but a bit dry. It would be better with some barbecue sauce. Our server was friendly. We loved the place and definitely will return.

Tubby's Tank House Thunderbolt
2909 River Dr, ThunderboltAfter a long day on the water it was nice to walk the short distance from Thunderbolt Marina to Tubby’s and be welcomed in for a good home-cooked meal. Fish and grits and fish tacos hit the spot. Could not resist the pecan pie, and glad that we didn’t try. Freddie provided great service and the whole experience left us feeling happy, full, and looking for a repeat visit.
